2011 brought along with it a host of new fashion trends, from long-sleeved gowns to daytime sequins to the ever-unfortunate mullet dress. The biggest trend of all, however, seems to have been stars looking like a volcanically hot mess. Yes, like a single strand of pearls or a little black dress, celebrities sashaying down the red carpet in cringe-inducing couture never gets old. After all, these are people who all have stylists. Who they pay real money. To make them look good. We know.

American Country Awards: Who Wins Hottest Legs And Cleavage?

So, Jason Aldean was the big winner at last night’s American Country Awards (seriously, country music people, how many freaking awards shows do you need?!?), taking home six prizes. Carrie Underwood took home a not-too-shabby three, while fellow Idol alum Scotty McCreery got New Artist of the Year. But those aren’t the titles we here at TheFABlife are interested in giving out. We saw the kind of skin and curves Carrie, Kristin Chenoweth, Jordin Sparks, Miranda Lambert and the JaneDear Girls’ Susie Brown were flashing. They may be “country,” but they know how to play up their sex appeal, big-city style. The question is, who did it best? Take a closer look and vote!

CMA Awards Fashions: The Short, The Long And The Totally Crazy

Congrats go to Taylor Swift for winning her second Entertainer of the Year trophy at last night’s Country Music Awards. But who should win our kudos for being the most spectacularly dressed at the Nashville ceremony? Um, Miss Piggy, obvs. The porcine beauty sported a dangerously short, shimmery champagne-colored dress onstage that we’re sure made Kermit wonder if he’s a mammal after all.

What really popped out last night (besides Kermit’s eyes), was the crazy variety of gowns, short, long, poofy and totally wacko. Taylor’s train must have spanned the entire length of the red carpet. Erin Andrews did Barbie proud in a short hot-pink number. Laura Bell Bundy‘s completely open royal-blue skirt revealed a beaded beige bodysuit — a look that was crazy but surprisingly flattering on her. Susie Brown of the JaneDear Girls accessorized her pink and purple ruffles with a cupcake purse. Natasha Bedingfield donned an entire carpet to perform. Martina McBride rebelled and wore pants. And of course, host Carrie Underwood embraced every single trend with her many gown changes throughout the night.

The iHeartRadio Festival Boasted The Greatest Lineup Of All Time, End Of Story

Get lost Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Woodstock: there’s a new epic concert in town! It would probably be easier to name who WASN’T at the iHeartRadio music festival this weekend in Las Vegas than try to tackle the luminous lineup. It’s seems like every big name in entertainment showed their face at the MGM Hotel to groove to the sounds of bands new and old. Lady Gaga ruled supreme (of course) with a hot show including special guest Sting. But the highlight of her set was the emotional tribute to Jamey Rodemeyer, the 14-year-old Gaga fan who committed suicide last Sunday after being tormented by bullies for his homosexuality. Have a tissue ready.

Some of the bigger acts also included Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Jay-Z, Carrie Underwood, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, and we haven’t even scratched the surface. Even the Black Eyed Peas took a hiatus from their hiatus to perform! Check out the gallery below to see which of your favorites tore up the stage and lit up the red carpet!

A.I Contestants Old And New, Celebrities, Watch As Scotty McCreery Wins American Idol

Scotty McCreery is the new American Idol! The teenaged country singer beat Lauren Alaina to win the the title which capped off a spectacular show. The two hour Season 10 finale took place at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles and they really packed in as much as they could. Beyonce dazzled on stage, Jennifer Lopez sparkled in a very JLo-esque jumpsuit and old and new American Idol contestants turned up in hordes. Like Sanjaya Malakar — remember him? A lot of this seasons contestants got to sing with their idols like Tony Bennett, Tim McGraw, Tom Jones, Judas Priest …. and Lady Gaga! Jack Black rocking out? Classic!

But more than anything, we were just happy to see some of our contestants and winners of past American Idol’s. Adam Lambert who was so glam it hurt, Allison Iraheta, Jason Castro (with his preggers wife Mandy Mayhall), Kris Allen… the list goes on. We’ve put a gallery of arrivals at the event so you can memory check everyone who came. Congratulations, Scotty! Can you believe he’s just 17? What a massive moment for country music.

Orange-Skinned Keith Urban Gunning For Gig As Male Snooki

Holy SPF 4. Keith Urban rolled into the Academy of Country Music Awards last night looking more like Snooki than, well, Snooki herself. Wife Nicole Kidman‘s alabaster skin only highlighted his serious tanning bed addiction. Between the straightened hair, the orange skin, the open shirt and the tribal tatt, Keith seems ready to fist pump the night away. No offense Nic – we’re sure he’s sweet and all, but Keith is seriously damaging your A-List cred like whoa.

Carrie Underwood Does Not Want You At Her Wedding

They’re all set! Carrie Underwood had her bachelorette while fiance Mike Fisher took it up a notch with a crazy bachelor bash. D-Day is tomorrow but they’ve gone totally secret service on everyone, including the guests! The couple refuse to reveal the location of the wedding. Mysterious!

Their guests are supposed to show up at an airport in a southern city – no one knows which one, yet – where they’ll be taken to the wedding in either a private jet or limos. Seriously? Do people really care that much of Carrie Underwood? A source commented, “Carrie wants to keep the wedding small and secret.”

Underwood’s also being business savvy about the nuptials. It’s been said that she originally wanted up to $2 million for the photo rights for the wedding. Now, the buzz is that she’s brokered a deal with a weekly magazine, but we don’t know which one.Smart cookie, Carrie. Create enough buzz and then… ka-ching! It really is the happiest day of your life!

Carrie Underwood Has A Low-Key Bachelorette Party

Mike Fisher had his crazy bachelor bash last week, so it was only fair that fiance Carrie Underwood celebrate her bachelorette party in style. Her’s was more mellow than mad, even though it was in Sin City. She wore a ‘bride-to-be’ sash while her girlfriends all rocked feather boas. They hung out at club LAVO and danced the night away. A source reported, “They goofed around. [Carrie] did the running man.”

Her hubby-to-be had part 2 of his boys night in Nashville having drinks and dinner at Cabana, while his fiance busted a move on the dance floor in Vegas. The whole easy-breezy vibe is going to be the atmosphere at the wedding too, Underwood revealed, “We’ll just show up. It’s mainly about family and friends and the two of us. So it’s going to be good no matter what.” No Bridezilla here. Just one pretty bride!

Carrie Underwood’s Fiance Has Insane Bachelor Bash

So Carrie Underwood and NHL star Mike Fisher are walking down the aisle on July 10. And he decided to ring in his bachelor days in… style? Either way, it sounds like he had an epic time. His best buds — 15 of them — headed down to Mansion club in Miami for Mike Fisher’s bachelor party and boy, did they pah-tay.

A source commented, “Fisher nursed a couple of cocktails throughout the night and watched the debauchery from a sofa. They were dancing on the tables and handing out shots to girls. One of his friends attempted to urinate in an office next to the bathroom, while another drunkenly asked the waitress if she’d be his date to the wedding.” Good going Mr. Underwood! But we bet you totally wanted to jump in too!
