Bobbi Kristina Brown, Daughter Of Whitney Houston And Bobby Brown, Rushed To The Hospital

Whitney Houston‘s shocking passing was apparently too much for her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, to handle. TMZ is reporting that Bobbi Kristina has been rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, but as of right now, the reasons for her visit are unclear.

TMZ reported last night that the 18-year-old daughter of Whitney and Bobby Brown got into an “angry shouting match” with law enforcement officials at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last night after they did not allow her into the room where Whitney Houston was found dead at the age of 48. Earlier today, Bobbi Kristina was taken out of the hotel on a stretcher and rushed by ambulance to the hospital, where she is currently being treated.

Bobby Brown, Mariah Carey, Clive Davis Mourn Whitney Houston Onstage And Online

While many of music’s biggest stars remembered Whitney Houston at the decidedly somber Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Party at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday night, Bobby Brown was onstage with New Edition in Mississippi, tearfully dedicating his show to his ex-wife. TMZ reported that Brown was “in and out of crying fits” after hearing the news of Houston’s death before the show, but he still went on with his performance. “First of all, I want to tell you that I love you all,” he told fans, according to The Associated Press. “Second, I would like to say, ‘I love you, Whitney.’ The hardest thing for me to do is to come on this stage.”

Back in Beverly Hills, as fans held a vigil for Houston outside the hotel, Davis asked his guests for a moment of silence. “I do have a heavy heart, and I am personally devastated by someone so close to me for so many years,” he said. “My heart goes out to her daughter Bobbi Kristina and her mother, Cissy.” Everyone from Tony Bennett to Diddy to Alicia Keys shared their memories of Houston at the party, MTV News reports.

Grammy Awards producer Ken Erlich told reporters that tonight’s event will now include a tribute to Houston sung by Jennifer Hudson. He said the ceremony will “recognize Whitney’s remarkable contribution to music fans in general, and in particular her close ties with the Grammy telecast and her Grammy wins and nominations over the years.”

Bobby Brown’s Father Dead At 82, After Battle With Cancer

Our condolences go out to Bobby Brown and his family right now. Bobby’s father, Herbert Brown, passed away on Friday after a long battle with cancer. He was 82 years old and had been ill for a while. If anyone of you watched Being Bobby Brown, Herbert, whom Bobby called “Pop,” was on the show quite regularly. R.I.P., Pop.

Bobby Brown Pops The Question On Stage

Watching someone move ahead with their lives is always great isn’t it? Bobby Brown‘s audience saw him do just that. The scene: the annual Funk Fest mega concert at Metro Park in Jacksonville, Florida. Brown was performing and ended up proposing to his girlfriend of nearly three years, manager Alicia Etheridge!

Etheridge joined Brown on stage holding their 11-month-old son Cassius, as the singer got down on one knee and presented her with a ring. The crowd roared its approval as a beaming Etheridge kissed Brown, who remained kneeling. Congrats to the couple! Hopefully this round will go much better than Brown’s nutty 15-year long marriage to Whitney Houston.

Whitney Houston Cancels More Shows As Drug Rumors Fly

Whitney Houston, once again blaming an “upper respiratory infection,” has canceled more dates on her upcoming European tour, with upcoming concerts in Manchester and Glasgow joining Tuesday’s scrapped Paris opener in the “reschedule” pile. Her first concert since her disastrous Australian tour will now be in Birmingham, England next Tuesday…assuming she’s able to show up.

Adding insinuation to injury are rumors that Whitney is back on drugs. “I saw her pull a plastic bag out, put a folded bill to her nose and discreetly snort a line from it of what to me certainly looked like cocaine,” a witness told InTouch Weekly, describing a night she allegedly spent at the Beverly Hills Wilshire hotel last month with ex-husband Bobby Brown of all people. “He had so much trouble trying to control her. He tried to make her leave, but she wouldn’t. She started yelling his name loudly and calling him a stupid son of a b—-, and he told her to shut the f— up.” While that certainly sounds like a conversation they could have, it’s hard to imagine these two could be associating under the radar.

Kelly Osbourne And Boyfriend To Star In Reality Show

Kelly Osbourne is throwing caution (and credibility) to the wind, by allowing herself to be the focus of a reality show again. Despite saying she was “completely and utterly miserable” during the filming of The Osbournes, Kelly and her look-alike boyfriend Luke Worrall have agreed to be followed by MTV cameras for the next three weeks chronicling their “chaotic home and work life as they plan their wedding”. Gah.

“Kelly is TV gold. We’ve been wanting to do something with her for ages…She is just the type of person we want on our channel – she’s young, smart and knows how to party,” a source told the Sun.

Kelly and Luke will be following in the footsteps of other couples who’ve allowed the cameras to follow their daily lives: Nick and Jessica, Whitney and Bobby, Britney and K-Fed. Oh. Good luck with that one. [Photo: Splash News Online]

Whitney Houston, who hasn’t released an album in seven years, has been teasing fans with a comeback since 2007 — and her record label finally announced Sept. 1 as its official release date. But Whitney isn’t the only one with big news.

Her ex-husband Bobby Brown, with whom she has a 16-year-old daughter, preempted her day in the sun with an announcement of his own: a new baby. According to TMZ, Bobby told a crowd last night at a Las Vegas nightclub that his girlfriend and manger, Alicia Etheridge, gave birth to a boy four days ago.

Whitney’s album is still untitled, but Cassius is the name of Bobby’s new baby. Congrats to both. See, it’s never too late for a comeback. Sort of. [Photo: Getty Images]

Flashback Lunch: Whitney Houston Paid Ransom To Save Bobby Brown’s Life

A new book alleges that Whitney Houston paid $400,000 ransom to drug dealers who threatened then-husband Bobby Brown‘s life in 1993 (the same year their daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was born). According to David Collins, a former member of the NY gang Preacher Crew, Brown owed $25,000, and was kidnapped and held at gunpoint until Whitney came up with the cash. “She was personally going to bring $400,000 to get her man back,” writes Collins in Preacher Of The Streets. The next day, she did just that. She was wearing a wig.” Brown and Houston’s reps have refused to comment.

Brown and Houston’s marriage continued for well over a decade after this alleged brush with danger (they separated in 2006). Check out the gallery for scenes from their infamous romance.

#84: Whitney Houston: Crack is Whack

We all knew Whitney Houston wanted to dance with somebody, we just had no idea she’d end up waltzing with a crack pipe. The singer had barreled through the ’80s and ’90s racking up #1 hits and the occasional flop (like marrying the dysfunctional Bobby Brown). After selling over nine million copies of The Bodyguard soundtrack and stockpiling six Grammys, she decided to move on to something more, uh, super f*cking illegal.

In early 2000, Whitney was busted lugging weed through a Hawaii airport. As if that wasn’t bad-ass enough, she inspired Lohans everywhere by skipping shows and losing enough weight to scare even Nicole Richie. Chatting with Diane Sawyer in 2002, she admitted to, well, everything. “My business is sex, drugs, rock and roll … I partied a lot.” When asked by Sawyer about her drug of choice — “Is it alcohol? Is it marijuana? Is it cocaine? Is it pills?” — Whitney answered, “It has been at times.” Sawyer: “All?” Houston: “At times.” But even Whitney had her limits: “I make too much money for me to ever smoke crack … crack is whack.” Whack enough to send the fallen songbird to rehab in 2004. She has yet to make a solid comeback — unless having her husband yank a “doody bubble” from her ass counts — but at least she’s made headlines dumping Brown for Ray J., brother of Brandy and on-camera lover of Kim Kardashian.

Whitney’s daughter is possibly continuing the family addiction tradition. Pics of then 13-year-old Bobbi Kristina exhaling what looked like marijuana smoke popped up on the Web in 2007. So much for teaching children well and letting them lead the way.
