What’s Sex and the City star and fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker’s favorite smell? Dior perfume? Brand new Louboutins? Fresh manicure? “I love the smell of diapers; I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm liked a baked good. I love the smell of Balmex. Love it,” says SJP in the new issue of Elle. Diapers?! Like a baked good?! Gross!

While SJP is not taking in a nice whiff of those fresh baked diapers (hot out of the oven from her baby twins Marion and Tabitha), the mother of three is busy filming the Sex and the City sequel. The rumors are true: Miley Cyrus will have a small part in the upcoming Sex and the City sequel, finally giving tweens and 30-year-old ladies something to squeal about other than Robert Pattinson.  According to our pals at Gossip Cop, Miley will appear in a scene that takes place on the red carpet, in which she and Samantha (played by Kim Cattrall) wear the same dress. Apparently the faux pas causes Mario Cantone’s character to gasp, “Mother of God:  She is wearing the same dress as Hannah Montana.”

For once, we couldn’t be more excited about the prospect of a TV show transferring to the big screen (well, not since SATC the first time round). According to the guy who played Gunther, (who did turn up to plug the London Central Perk, as rumored), a big-screen version of “Friends” will be hitting the big screen. At some point.

“Friends: The Movie is definitely on. I still keep in touch with a lot of the cast and they say that they are really keen,” James Michael Tyler said. We’re hoping that by “other cast” he means people like Jennifer Aniston and Matthew Perry, not Coffee Drinker # 3. But our favorite revelation is that Gunther is “definitely on board to do the film”. We freaked out a bit on seeing Sarah Jessica Parker’s perm frightwig during filming for Sex and the City 2, but that’s nothing compared to Kim Cattrall’s “I’ve covered myself in glue then rolled around in a retro shop” 80s look. Good Lord. Did anyone really dress like this back in the day? We’re thinking not as all we can remember is bad sweaters. But we have to give kudos to whoever achieved that hair and how they worked against the laws of gravity to do so. And love the Walkman touch. Ahhh, nostalgia. [Photo: Splash News Online]

We’re well aware that since the second Sex and the City film started shooting last week, we’ve all gone bananas again for Carrie and co. Whether it’s mobbing the SATC stars in the street or freaking out about an 80’s flashback hairdo, we’re all obsessed with what the ladies are up to (whether we really want to see this movie or not). And it seems they are too. Britain’s Grazia magazine has reported that not only is Sarah Jessica Parker determined to dress like a fashion freak, she’s also concerned with looking young, way beyond the usual skin-and-fitness-regimens.

“She wants to make sure she gets all the help she needs to look young and fresh. She’s consulted hair guru John Freida [and stylist Serge Normant]. Between them they’ve come up with the perfect anti-aging hair shade,” it reports.

WTF? As far as we can tell, “anti-aging” hair  means it’s not permed and not gray. Even juicier, it seems weight concerns aren’t only limited to the ladies (about time too), as reportedly Chris Noth was instructed to lose 14 pounds at a Brazilian detox spa before filming started. “Both Chris and Steve [Eisenberg] were given personal trainers before shooting began…it’s believed [Chris] has only lost 5lb so far,” claims a source.

Like we’ve traveled back in time to the filming of the first movie, or the series, rumors are swirling once again that Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker are not getting along. The stars are readying production on the totally unnecessary sequel to the 2008 hit Sex and the City movie, and with Kim’s recent breakup with chef Alan Wyse still raw, reports claim this is causing tension between them.

“Kim has been moping around, feeling sorry for herself and Sarah basi­cally told her to snap out of it and buck up her ideas. Kim didn’t take this too well and there is a very frosty atmosphere between the girls right now. They only speak to each other when absolutely neces­sary. The film producers are hoping this row doesn’t escalate and threaten the entire movie,” says the Metro.

Who here loves Sex and The City so much that they want to be an extra in the upcoming movie sequel? A lot of us, right? Okay, so now, who of us fits the description the casting agency sent out for said extras? ‘Cause we’re not so sure we do. Carrie and friends are looking for background performers, and while the list of types is long, we don’t think we could fit any of them. The casting agency is holding an open call next week and they’re looking for a few glamorous nobodies who are also proficient at footballing. Easy-peasy!

Although there were recent rumors about Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker‘s marriage being on the rocks, the couple of 12 years fought back with a PDA fest at last night’s premiere of Matthew’s film, Wonderful World.

Matthew and Sarah worked the red carpet together and were overly affectionate. During the film, Sarah snuggled up to her hubby and got especially close when Matthew’s love scene popped up on the screen.

“She leaned over and grabbed his hand and looked like she was squeezing it really tight!” a source tells theFABlife.

At the after party at Manhattan’s 675 Bar,  Matthew chatted with the film’s director while SJP was nowhere in sight.
