We’d normally be annoyed with Ethan Hawke and wife Ryan Shawhughes for what looks like an egregious hogging of sidewalk real estate in Chelsea this morning, but with Sandra Bullock’s marriage crashing around her only a week after her Oscar win, we’re glad to see at least one celebrity who doesn’t just spend time with his wife on the red carpet. In fact, we’re so glad to see some celebrity affection that we’re going to ignore that Shawhughes was originally Hawke’s nanny back when he was married to Uma Thurman. That was then, this is now, and this is sweet—assuming you’re not trying to get around these lovebirds.

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were in Austin, Texas last night to promote The Runaways at SXSW, only a day after the film’s NY premiere. This time both stars wore short, strapless minidresses—who do you think pulled it off best? We’d like to say two things. First, we love Milla Jovovich. She’s been in a lot of good movies and she’s kind of this awesome action star/cool mom/pothead/fanboy obsession that a lot of other actresses can only hope to be. Also, we owned her album when we were in high school, which should prove our loyalty to her. The second thing is that we only wish we had the fashion-balls to wear what she is wearing in this photo, but there’s no way we could pull it off. Having said that, for real Milla, what are you wearing?

Last week, Claudia Schiffer got her fashion sense from our Nana, and we feel like Milla, who was at a Tommy Hilfiger bag launch in Spain, directly cribbed this look from our Grampy. No one rocked the plaid slacks quite like he could. Back in 1973.

Is this a trend? Should we be filing a lawsuit on behalf of groovy, retro grandparents everywhere whose looks are being copied? Pretty soon fashion magazines are just going to be replaced with those clear plastic photo cubes that lived on coffee tables everywhere when we were growing up. [Photo: Getty Images]

Oh my gahhh, mooommm!! You are not wearing a short skirt and thigh-high boots to a musical, are you?? Madonna stepped out with boy toy Jesus Luz to see Fela last night, wearing an ensemble one doesn’t usually associate with middle aged women hanging around on Broadway (at least not in the post-Giuliani Times Square). To be fair, this was certainly a more glamorous night on the town than when they checked out Avatar in matching ski masks. And wearing such a skimpy outfit to the theater does suggest the critically acclaimed Fela is not your mama’s musical—unless you’re Lourdes Leon.

Who says sobriety can’t be sexy? Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler, in Maui with girlfriend Erin Brady, has found an interesting way to flaunt his clean living in character (Tyler went to rehab late last year for painkillers).  Aerosmith will hit the road this summer, having put aside the drama that nearly found them seeking a replacement for the singer (we still can’t believe guitar Joe Perry made the threat on Twitter). You’re still the rainbow, Steven!

We still don’t get why this comes so soon after the Oscars, but last night’s ShoWest Awards were redeemed by Katherine Heigl’s dress, which broke a during her Female Star Of The Year acceptance speech and almost revealed a prized part of her anatomy. Heigl impressively succeeded in catching the strap before we got a look at her star-shaped aureole pastie, proving just how badly she’s determined to keep nude screencaps of herself off the web. Despite how it looks in the above photo, Billy Bush did not just pull a Justin Timberlake on her.

Audrina Patridge, Kristin Cavallari and a blow up doll went out to lunch yesterday, in what resulted in a mini plastic surgery convention over a couple bites of lettuce. We can’t stop marveling at the competing side boob in the pic above. It’s too bad these gals weren’t around at the turn of the last century - their boobs alone probably could have prevented the Titantic from sinking. Plastic surgery: turning body parts into flotation devices one implant at a time.

Still hungry for more sexy time with Tiger Woods? Porn star/golf-mistress Joslyn James (aka Veronica Siwik-Daniels) has posted every text she allegedly received from the golf star on a new NSFW website, Sexting Josyln James. The one-sided missives range from banal (”what do you want to eat…no turkey unless it’s a club sandwich”) to profane (”next time i see you you better beg and if you don’t do it right i will slap, spank, bite and f— till mercy”) to romantic (”Great thing is we have a life time of this”). Despite her tearful, glamor-free press conference immediately following Tiger’s apology, the site also features nude photos of the star and hosts the texts on an oh-so-classy “iBone” graphic. “Veronica is looking forward to the next chapter in her exciting career,” says her site bio. “Fans are encouraged to keep checking back here for future plans and sometimes controversial announcements.”

Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt have been clubhopping in NYC this week, with the socialite looking especially fierce Tuesday in a hot pink and black couture dress—bringing to mind exclamation points and bowling pins—matched with a hippychick headband. Ironically, it’s sister Nicky who’s getting engagement buzz this week, with Page Six saying longtime boyfriend David Katzenberg could pop the question at any second. For such an attention magnet, this dress is the loudest noise Paris has made in weeks! Is she still hungover from Rio or is this just the calm before the storm?
