Rob And Kristen Eat Alone After MTV Movie Awards

kristen stewart & robert pattinson

Sunday night was an early one for Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. According to multiple reports, the pair celebrated their sweep of the MTV Movie awards alone at Cecconi’s in Hollywood—holding hands, no less!—and went back to their hotel before 11pm via police escort. The Daily News says Pattinson eventually took off for a party, but that hasn’t stopped everyone from assuming 19-year-old Stewart is stepping out on boyfriend Michael Arangano. Not that any teenage girl could blame Stewart if she is.

Style Wars: Twilight Vs. HSM

Both casts of High School Musical and Twilight strutted their stuff on the red carpet of last night’s MTV Movie Awards. The Twilight crew nonchalantly took home a ton of awards, while the High Schoolers flaunted serious style skills with their glamorous looks. What group was more red carpet ready? You tell us!

Style Wars: Ashley Tisdale Vs. Hayden Panettiere

We were shocked at how hot Ashley Tisdale looked at the MTV Movie Awards - the fierce shoes, the darker hair, the teeny-tiny mini. She may play a high schooler, but girl was 100% adult last night! But TV starlet - and fellow Disney singer - Hayden Panettiere also sexed up her look - sporting an up-do and an adorable black dress. What starlet do you think stole the show?

Style Wars: Vanessa Hudgens Vs. Megan Fox

Last night’s MTV Movie Awards was a hotbed of style and sexiness. Vanessa Hudgens oozed bohemian beauty in a silky peach-colored frock, while Megan Fox stunned with slicked hair and lips that popped. But which brunette burned up the red carpet more? Weigh in above!

Kristen Stewart Drops MTV Movie Award, Twilight Takes Home 5

Twilight dominated last night’s MTV Movie Awards, taking home Best Movie, Best Female Performance, Breakthrough Performance Male, Best Kiss and Best Fight. While Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart punk’d the audience by almost kissing on stage, Stewart punk’d herself by dropping her Best Female Performance trophy near the end of her speech. “I was just about as awkward as you thought I was gonna be, bye!” Don’t feel too bad, Kristen! At least you didn’t tell us “this world is bulls—” and quote Maya Angelou.

CW Star Hottest Thing At MTV Movie Awards

leighton-meester
MTV may have flooded its Movie Awards red carpet with a bunch of its own hot young stars (Whitney Port, Lauren Conrad, Jayde Nicole, Lauren Bosworth), but it was the CW’s Leighton Meester who took the crown as the night’s sexiest. The Gossip Girl actress, who co-presented an award with Lil’ Wayne, wore purple suede boots and a black cut-out dress that left little to the imagination — so little that we all know now what Leighton would look like in her undies! This outfit could easily have turned out looking trashy, but Leighton pulls it off with class and elegance. Watch your back, Megan Fox. There’s a new brunette in town. [Photo: Getty Images]

MTV Movie Awards: Eminem Vs. Bruno - Was It Real?

If you weren’t tuned in to the MTV Movie Awards tonight you missed a real treat - and no, we’re not talking about Robert Pattinson. Bruno - the latest character performed by Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen - came down from the ceiling decked out in some white feathery number to deliver the Best Male Performance award. Instead, he awkwardly landed his ass on top of Eminem’s face, which caused the rapper to have a curse-filled hissy fit before storming out of the show with his crew, who also threw a few punches in Bruno’s direction.

The drama is trending high on Twitter and Google Trends, with everyone asking: was the altercation a brilliantly staged bit between Em and Sasha, or did the rapper really freak out? Ryan Seacrest is insisting via Twitter that it was absolutely real. “If u saw the fight at mtv movie awards betwen eminem and “bruno” I am told it was real and em’s crew left the show,” he writes. The guys over at Gawker, however, think the whole thing was staged.

Real or fake, it kicked ass - and completely threw Best Male Performance winner Zac Efron for a loop. Watch the clip above and let us know what you think - real or fake?

Andy Samberg Gears Up To Host MTV Movie Awards

Saturday Night Live’s Andy Samberg is gettin’ psyched to host Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards. “I listen to a lot of ‘Eye of the Tiger,’” he jokes to MTV News, about how he’s preppin’ for the big night. “I’m staying at a hotel, but I don’t care about the neighbors. I’ll just blast it out at 6 a.m.” While his comments are lighthearted, we imagine the star is taking his hosting duties seriously. After all, this is where the actor got his start, serving as a writer for the show in 2005 alongside Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, his partners in comedy crime. He says, “we wrote for Lindsay Lohan one year and Jimmy Fallon the next. Jimmy was actually the one who recommended us to SNL, so it’s a real full circle.”

Awww. But don’t let Samberg’s sentimental side fool you. His stint on the MTV stage is gonna be all about the funny stuff (Dick In a Box, Motherlover, Lazy Sunday - you know the drill) for which he and the Lonley Island gang are known. “It’s going to be action packed,” Samberg says about the Awards. “There’s going to be some surprises — nothing I can divulge, but it will involve celebrities. It’s going to be great. There’s going to be some pre-taped stuff, some digital shorts-style stuff, and a lot of fun collaborations.”

Check out the promo short Andy did with the adorable Rashida Jones above, and tune in to the MTV Movie Awards this Sunday night, at 9PM EST.

Cam Gigandet Takes On Twilight Fans

There’s a reason Cam Gigandet is up for his second straight MTV Movie Award for Best Fight. In this Funny Or Die clip, the Twilight star makes quick work of some ravenous fans who refuse to believe he isn’t the nefarious vampire James. Would Batman thrash a group of psycho schoolgirls? Hellboy? Seth Rogen? Seth would get his ass beat.

We’ll find out if Gigandet can follow last year’s Never Back Down win during the MTV Movie Awards, this Sunday at 9PM EST.
