Just after her sister Ashlee Simpson was fired from Melrose Place,  Jessica Simpson took to Twitter to slam the program. “CW catching up on MP. Who writes this crap? I have had bad scripts to work with, but this? Thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press,” she wrote.

Funny, just less than two weeks ago, Jessica was rallying her Twitter followers to watch the show. “Everyone watch my sis on Melrose Place tonight,” she wrote on October 20th. There was a lot of glitz and glam at the “Melrose Place” premiere, and like it’s sister show, “90210,” some of the original stars are back for the reboot. Original stars like Daphne Zuniga, Josie Bissett and Laura Leighton returned, presumably to show the new generation their “throwing your nemesis into a pool” moves. The next generation of stars living at the famed apartment complex was also on hand, including Ashlee Simpson, Katie Cassidy and Jessica Stroup. The show premieres on the CW on September 8.
