Made In New York:Fashion Week was going fabulously so far! We were caught up in a circus of stilettos, designer clothing, and fantastic people, and we couldn’t have been happier. Now it was time to host our own little fashion soiree for our fashionista pals. But of course, first we needed something to wear! We headed over to Kati Stern Venexiana’s showroom in midtown to try and find just the perfect dress for the evening. We decided on a maroon, green, and yellow floral print dress that had a train which barely swept the floor. It is after Labor Day, but the summery print made us feel like we were holding onto the last few days of good weather.
VH1’s TheFABlife teamed up with New York Girl Style, designer Venexiana, and the Hotel Gansevoort to produce an elegant event on the Gansevoort Hotel’s rooftop, which luckily fell on an evening when the weather was crisp and perfect. Guests took in a mini-fashion show by designer Venexiana, who showcased elegant evening wear while admiring the 360 degree view from the hotel’s rooftop. But when the party was over, that didn't mean the fun was too! We left with a Fashion-Week worthy gift bag filled with Bed Head products and luxury MODO sunglasses. [Photo: Stephen Mao]
