Million-selling rapaholic Lil Wayne is on the cover of this month’s Blender magazine. Among the many interesting nuggets Senior Editor Jonah Weiner digs up while spending time with Wayne in his Miami home — the affiliated Crip has mountains of shoes, a bit of a temper, and a serious sugar addiction. Here are a few of our favorite revelations about one of our favorite rappers.
* Wayne — he’s just like us! He’s as concerned with his house looking “cool” as we are. Inspired by his friends Jay-Z and Kanye, Weezy’s decided to start collecting art. Among his prospective acquisitions — a painting by Basquiat. “The first time I saw one, I said, ‘It costs that much for this?’ But I want my house to look cool.”
* He’s got some interesting taste in films. “I don’t watch anything where they go ‘action’ and ‘cut. ’Cause that means it’s not real. If I wanna see some acting, I can get 15 naked bitches to act out a scene.”
* Wayne’s mom took an…unorthodox approach to child-rearing, and it’s made him who he is today. She purchased Wayne his first gun while he was in junior high, “with instructions to empty it into the first guy that messed with him.”

Wow…all the more reason to pray for our children. When mothers are giving their children guns in junior high and the son grows up to openly disrespect women (and himself)…time to really pray for us as African-Americans.

very interesting. he is one of my favourite rappers. luv his songs and his albums, and i frankly think he is EXTREMELY sexy, bt the mo we learn, well, he gets more interesting, for luck of better words. oh well, i guess thst’s y he is sexy, coz he’s DIFFERENT.
Damn huh I like some of Weezy’s songs no doubt but hes forgotten where he came from and who made him and when you forget those things in the end your gonna be a nobody especially when you have a female for a mother and your calling females )~~($!@`_)+~_!___ es and Hoe’s ya thats real classy and nice.
