Maybe if we think back real hard about how it used to be before Demi Moore started this thing about showing the big bare pregnant mommy trend, there was a bit of class left to judgement. Not all of us think the stomach sticking out leaving nothing to the imagination, is sexy or a proud moment of motherhood. I think it looked a lot prettier to see a pregnant woman being a lucious lady, and save the bare butt for the naked baby on a rug.
Liz Taylor used to wear adorable, beautiful outfits, from caftans to empire waists and the big hair looked a lot better than the greasy look they have now, with the always “part” in the middle with dark roots. I am so sick of it, and sure that there are plenty of other people who would enjoy nice, neat hair-styles again. For that matter, you don’t see Angelina Jolie with greasy, stringy hair parted in the middle. It’s always fresh, clean and lovely. And the dresses she wore during her pregnancy were so fresh, flowing and lady-like…I would love to wear those dresses. Jennifer Lopez also wore some lovely, flowing dresses too. Maybe Gisele will wear some of those lacey things too, instead of her belly sticking out. Why must people think they have to look like a beached whale to give proof that they are over-joyed about having a baby?
Wow, in the 50′s, they would have been railroaded out of town in the get-ups they wear today.
I would say that Gisele has that class and doesn’t have to “let her stomach hang out” to please the idiots of the world today. Why? Because she doesn’t have to!!!!

I think pregnancy is beautiful and there is nothing wrong with showcases all aspects of it, including the baby belly–people who have a problem with it are jealous prudes who have an issue with our own natural state of being and are ashamed of their own bodies. No one has an issue with seeing a woman be sexy pre-pregnancy, so does a woman just turn her sexuality off while pregnant? I am sure the hubby would hope not! I think it is about not wanting to be reminded that mom to be had sex and a bare pregnant belly says it all.

Its a celebration of motherhood and I have always thought it was an amazing thing to see, Don’t wanna look don’t, but I find it interesting that those who are so ashamed of the bare preggo belly are usually those who wouldn’t look half as good sporting one..

Gisele is just ashamed of her pregnant body when she should be embracing it. I am pregnant now and my hubby loves my new shape. People like the above poster don’t make it any easier fro women to feel proud of their bodies when they are pregnant (and they wonder why women hate their bodies so much)–According to folks like her, it is s shameful thing that has to be covered up. whatever…

It just really makes me realize how small minded this world is when I see comments like Gail’s post. This puritan belief system is lame and stifiling. The pregnant woman is as beautiful as a woman can ever be. This is the miracle of life and thank God for Demi for showing this ultimate experience with the world. You know if God didnt like us naked wouldnt he/she have sent us here in clothes?

Wow, Gail. You hate everything don’t you?

Haha. I bet half the people on this website even know who Liz Taylor is.

Ahhh olds. They make me laugh.

she disgusts me… how will her baby feel when she shows this picture.. the child will say
‘werent you prego when you had this shot? well…. why dont you look it?’
    and her reply should be
bc im a stuck up model who was affraid to look fat…

she makes me sick… and she looks sick in this picture. EAT A BURGER.
if you cant be proud of being prego and enjoying the ‘changes’, your really not mother material. … ughhh celebs and their b.s

Does London Fog really think these photos will help sell their raincoats? Especially knowing a baby was made to disappear to enhance a flat tummy – it would turn me away – rapidly.
