Do you think Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are constantly arguing over who is the smart one? They certainly aren’t feuding over who has the sweeter non-threatening dance moves, that’s for sure. We mean, come on. Luckily the couple can both agree on how much they’re killing it career-wise now that their new multi-camera sitcom The Smart One has been picked up for a pilot order by ABC. Now they’ll just have to fight over who has the more jovial interviewing style. Or maybe who’s spent more time in close proximity to David Cross‘s bare chest?

Starring de Rossi and produced by DeGeneres, Deadline reports that their new show focuses on a “brilliant and successful woman” who must reluctantly work for her “less brainy but more popular sister,” a woman who happens to be a former beauty queen, weather girl and, oh right, Mayor. Portia stars as one of the siblings and we know Ellen would be excellent as the other, but then they’d probably disagree over whether that seemed weird or not. It does, doesn’t it? Just a little?

Daniel doesn’t specify exactly which scenes he’s referring to, but has discussed in the past how his drinking ramped up during the filming of 2009′s Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince. “I became so reliant on [alcohol] to enjoy stuff. There were a few years there when I was just so enamoured with the idea of living some sort of famous person’s lifestyle that really isn’t suited to me,” Radcliffe told The Telegraph this past summer. Radcliffe says he stopped drinking in 2010, maintaining, “I can honestly say I never drank at work on Harry Potter. I went into work still drunk, but I never drank at work.” Man, can you imagine filming Dumbledore’s death scene three sheets to the wind? We could barely stop crying as it is, and we were stone cold sober. And in a crowded movie theater!

Lady Gaga isn’t about to sit around in her sweatpants all day eating seven-layer dip to commemorate Super Bowl XLVI this Sunday. Well…maybe just a little dip. She is rooting for her home team, after all. Luckily for Lady Gaga, she had her frequent collaborator photographer Terry Richardson on hand to help her really become one with the pigskin, Gaga style. Oh, and just to be clear, Gaga style means topless and snarling.

“Lady Gaga holding a football,” Richardson captioned the most sporty shot in their photo shoot. “Go Giants!” Terry also snapped Gaga astride a motorcycle, which seems like the least practical way to get to Indianapolis before kick-off, but what do we know? We still have so much chili to make before Sunday; we don’t have time for cycling or snarling! Plus we really should not be topless around the Crock Pot.

Miley Cyrus knows that while some things change (like the social acceptability of mullets and denim shirts), other things stay the same. For example, things like Billy Ray Cyrus‘s fierce Blue Steel modeling pose. “Awkward family photos. Look @billyraycyrus always giving face!,” the singer tweeted last night along with a childhood snapshot featuring Miley alongside her pops, mom Tish and three of her absurdly blond siblings, including older brother Trace Cyrus. Is it us, or does Billy Ray look like he is somehow Photobombing his own family? Go ahead and close up shop, Awkward Family Photos. We know it’s not a contest, but somehow Miley still just managed to win.

Valentine’s Day is less than two weeks away, and love is in the air. Love of a good paternity-test joke, that is. While attending the Sundance premiere of his new dramedy Two Days in New York last week, Chris Rock admitted that he is currently making the moves on Bridesmaids breakout Melissa McCarthy. Comedically speaking, of course. “I’m trying to romance her,” the comedian revealed, explaining that he intends to snag McCarthy as the other half of the rowdy, dysfunctional “Jerry Springer couple” at the center of his new untitled script. Wait a minute … this rom-com sounds like it might actually have both romance and comedy in it! We knew it had to happen sometime! Steve Wilkos can cameo as their best man!

According to the L.A. Times, Rock has apparently “made some inroads” into wooing McCarthy for the part. A quick look at her IMDB page, however, suggests McCarthy’s dance card is filling up pretty fast, so Chris needs to lock it down now. Honestly, we’re not too worried about these two. We believe in a Rock/McCarthy team-up movie more than we believe in the existence of romantic love. Besides, is there anything more dreamy than the prospect of a choreographed two-person “You Are Not the Father” dance? We didn’t think so.

Last night’s Jersey Shore episode was called “Nothing But Nice,” but it should’ve been titled “Nothing But Disgusting” with all of the talk of Snooki’s nether regions, Mike’s unfortunate wardrobe malfunction and, well some straight-up pee. Here’s a countdown of the most nauseating moments:

5. Snooki Is a Carnival Ride: This was a quick moment, but a stomach-churning one nonetheless. While the kids are getting ready to go to Jenks for some mid-day boozing, Deena bounces on Snooki’s stomach with her junk in her face. Snooki says what’s on everyone’s mind: “I’m going to throw up!”

4. Snooki Is House-Trained: When all the bathrooms are taken, Snooki (the family dog) heads to the porch to squat beneath the stairs. Afterward, she attempts to cover the mess with some unfortunate soul’s shorts. “They pee outside and drink out of bowls, we don’t need pets.” Well said, Pauly.

3. Deena’s Dirty Locks: A knotted, mangy mess, much like Deena herself. It looked like someone swiped a wad of hair from a drain, bleached some of it blond, and stuck a hair clip on it. Did Snooki pee on those too?

2. “Gym, Tan … I Need Some Clearasil”: Actually, what Mike needs when he utters this phrase is to zip up his fly, because he’s breaking out of his pants. The faux pas goes on way longer than it should, with Snooki and Deena having a full conversation with him about his ulterior motives (deja vu, anyone?), seemingly unaware that the Situation Family Jewels are on display. Finally, unlikely voice of reason JWoww comes in and announces, “Oh my God, your drawers are down!” Thank God for censors.

1. Snooki Is Not House-Trained: OK, UTIs are unpleasant, but what’s worse than trying to get your groove on in the club and ending up splashing around in a puddle of meatball pee? When the whole house heads to Karma, Snooki is getting down with her bad self and suddenly announces: “Dude, I peed everywhere.” After heading into the bathroom and spraying about 40 spritzes of perfume around her crotch, but not going anywhere near an actual bathroom stall or soap, Snookster heads back into the party. “If you spray perfume and take a Shore shower, that’s still considered a shower,” she says. As she’s apt to do, Snooki doesn’t tell anyone except JWoww and Deena about her leak, leaving the scene of the crime without cleaning up her mess.

Honorable mention: An Anatomy Lesson: After appropriately calling herself “a dirty little rat” on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, Snooki says she got the UTI from “butt sex or something.” Glad she cleared up that medical mystery.

Surprised fans and friends hit Rihanna with a load of questions about the hair change. The pop star confirmed she dyed her actual locks blonde and added a few extensions for the Elle shoot. “Bleach + weave #WERQ” she tweeted in response. Now the Barbados princess has rocked more than a couple of OMG ‘dos in the past. We all remember the fire engine red of 2011 don’t we? So what do you think of the pop star as Goldie Locks? Definite “Do” or “Oh-na-na”?

We are smart, most of the time. And also we like serious movies every once in a while. But despite Gary Oldman’s Oscar nomination, we’ve kind of been avoiding Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Just didn’t seem like our thing. Until now. The actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and gave a dramatic reading of an official synopsis of last night’s Jersey Shore. Which was definitely one of the grossest episodes of the show we’ve seen in a while.

Now, Oldman is definitely not your typical highbrow British actor — Sid and Nancy proved long ago that the guy can do gross. But he can put on a posh voice like nobody’s business, especially when saying, “While dancing in a club, Snooki accidentally pees on herself. She sprays perfume on herself and calls it a sure shower.” We love the way the words “JWoww” and “weiner” just role off his tongue. See for yourself in the video after the jump.

Well, if her past year of sexy performances and videos haven’t proved to you that Demi Lovato is no longer a sweet little Disney girl, her shoot with Tyler Shields might. It’s not on the level of Shields’ Lindsay Lohan vampire murder scene shoot, but it’s provocative nonetheless. She seduces a lollipop, smashes a mirror with a hammer, dons a ’50s pinup wig and, in a simple, bold shot, looks quite daringly at the camera with her hair slicked back, a dress falling off her shoulders, one eyebrow raised and bright-red lips parted in a way that is definitely not suited for the typical Sonny With a Chance viewer.

“Doing a crazy photoshoot with the infamous/brilliant @tylershields.. Beyond excited.. But um I hope I survive……. ” Demi tweeted earlier this month, and later marveled at the glass in her hair.


That tease was enough to get the Lovatics hounding Shields to post the photos. “I have received more emails asking me to release this shoot then any other shoot I have ever done Lovatics are dedicated fans!” he wrote on his site. And Demi was clearly eager to show them off too.

“When I showed her the images she was really excited and could not wait for us to post them so that her fans could see a different side to her,” the photographer told Us Weekly.

As hot as these pics are, we kind of want her to do more of the dramatic mirror-smashing ones next, and maybe work in some headless Barbies, too? You know, if they’re taking requests.

Taylor Momsen is back. And what better way to remind us about what we’ve been missing than by posing half nekkid on the cover of March’s FHM? Nothing much has changed. The 18-year-old has still got raccoon eyes and hasn’t really moved on from wearing stripper heels and thigh-highs. The magazine has given us the gem that is “FHM at Taylor Momsen’s house party,” which we’re guessing the photograph on the right is a nod to. Taylor also brought along “her adult superstar chum Jenna Haze” for the festivities. Right, we’re heading to the showers now, although we never may feel clean again.

There’s not much hair left to whip now. None of it, in fact. Willow Smith posted this photograph on her WhoSay account yesterday, and she’s as bald as bald can be. No words, just a picture that says it all. Do you like Willow’s new look? It doesn’t really matter either way, because she’s just 11 years old. It’ll grow back soon enough. Also, we need a new song from her, so maybe this experience will inspire one.

This story just gets more heartbreaking. Leslie Carter passed away suddenly on Tuesday in upstate New York, and with toxicology reports pending, we still don’t know the official cause of death. But now an incident report from emergency responders indicates that a cocktail of prescription drugs is likely what caused the 25-year-old’s sudden death, according to ABC News.

Ginger Carter, Leslie’s stepmother, revealed that Leslie had “a long history of mental illness and was on medication for her depression.” Her toxicology report also showed that Leslie had at least three drugs around her: Olanzapine, used to treat the symptoms of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder; Cyclobenzaprine (a muscle relaxant) and Alprazolam, used for anxiety or panic disorders. Apparently, Ginger told authorities that Leslie had looked depressed on the morning of January 30 and had fallen in the shower. Ginger helped Leslie lie down after her fall, but it was later in the afternoon that she found her stepdaughter not breathing when she checked in on her. 911 was called after her father, Robert Carter, performed CPR. The incident report clearly states, “Leslie Ashton’s overdose” as a part of the document. Her husband’s name is Mike Ashton, so her maiden name hasn’t been used.

Sadly, Ginger was also in bad shape, states the report, having taken “five to six pills for her depression” herself “because of Leslie passing away.” The report details that, “Ginger had slurred speech, pinpoint pupils, glassy eyes and kept falling asleep” as well. We can’t imagine what the family is going through. Our condolences to the Carters.

Vanessa Hudgens was at the premiere of her film Journey 2: The Mysterious Island in L.A last night and looked quite lovely in this sunflower yellow Maria Lucia Hohan gown. For once, Vanessa managed to channel her boho-hippie (not really) chic on to a red carpet to positive results. She looked pretty adorable at the photocall in Bondi Beach too, remember? That wasn’t a posh event, per se, but she’s still doing nicely in the style stakes. Almost. SO close. Love the gown from the front, especialy with the gold bangles and that huge ring. Still OK with the back. Backless is good, right? Not so OK with it being sideless too. Because now we’re looking at it nervously, wondering what it’s holding on to, other than that bit of flesh-colored fabric. A prayer? We know less is more, but you have to learn when to apply that and when to invest in some “more.”

There was a while there when High School Musical 3 seemed like more than enough. We were happy to see the Wildcats make it to the big screen, and just as happy to see them move on to bigger and (sometimes) better things. We did not really feel the need to buy Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure on DVD. That has all changed this week. And no, not because we really miss Corbin Bleu. But because Ashley Tisdale made the brilliant move of posting this video of her and pal Vanessa Hudgens dancing to Beyonce’s “Run the World (Girls).”

It’s blurry, it’s far away, and it’s a terrible camera angle, but it’s also perfect in its way. Ashley, who has had a little more dance practice in recent years, with the Sharpay movie and Hellcats, is a little, well, sharper here. But Vanessa’s working the sexy angle just fine. We kind of wish she’d take a break from all those “let me prove I’m a serious actress roles” and, well, Journey 2, and go back to her musical roots. So now the question is, what should be the plot of this new HM flick? Can Sharpay and Gabrielle become backup dancers for Beyonce? Do they get transported to the post-apocalyptic world of the “Girls” video and have to dance their way out of a serious scrape? The possibilities are endless.

For a combination child star, sibling of Britney Spears and teen mom, Jamie Lynn Spears is way more functional than she has any right to be. In the new issue of Glamour, Jamie Lynn wants everyone to know she’s done a lot of growing up since she had daughter Maddie at 16. Let’s start with a very mature recounting of how she became accidentally pregnant with boyfriend Casey Aldridge. Oh yes, girl goes there. “I believe in safety and birth control as prevention. But like many young girls…I was really scared to go to the doctor,” the former Zoey 101 star reveals. “And I was on a Nickelodeon show, and it [felt] especially embarrassing to ask someone to put me on birth control.” What’s Jamie keeping over there? Oh, she’s keeping it real? Just wanted to make sure.

Now at the cusp of 21, Jamie Lynn is finally easing back into the spotlight, having made her singing debut this past November in Nashville. Just keep in mind when you’re blasting her album in a few years that Jamie has not had an easy go of things. “When I saw MTV’s Teen Mom was coming out, I remember thinking, Oh my God, I cannot wait to see this show because there’s someone else out there,” she admits. “I mean, I feel for those girls. I’ve been that girl. It does show that motherhood is hard. There were so many times—especially when Maddie would get sick—when I would cry to myself and think, I really don’t know what to do.” We can tell we’re going to like this new Jamie Lynn a lot. Like, Britney-circa-In The Zone levels of like. Just to be clear, that is the album that has “Toxic” on it.

Beyonce, it couldn’t have happened to a nicer international pop star. According to MediaTakeout, Simon Cowell has allegedly begun courting Beyonce as a replacement judge for The X Factor; the exit of Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger has left two open chairs in the show’s panel (right next to L.A. Reid), and Simon desperately wants a big name to fill them. Don’t get us wrong. We can certainly believe that Simon would want Beyonce on the show. They could just train the camera on Bey for two hours and we’re pretty sure no one would complain. Or even miss the contestants.

No, the bigger question mark in our minds has to do with how much Simon is allegedly offering Beyonce to get her on board: $500 million, or $100 million per year for a five season commitment. You guys. That is all the money. That is literally all the money our brains can comprehend. The American financial system would revolve entirely around how gently Beyonce can let down a pitchy, blubbering teenager. No word on whether Bey will accept the offer, but, now that we think about it…that isn’t the worst idea we’ve heard for stimulating the economy.

Sadly, The Artist star Jean Dujardin is not asking where you want these spare mannequin parts. Instead, the Oscars Best Actor nominee is in fact advertising his new French sex comedy Les Infideles, though we guess writing “French” and “sex comedy” is kind of redundant. Dujardin and the film’s creators are currently receiving a lot of criticism for the ad campaign’s depiction of women. Or, you know, one woman’s lower torso.

“We already feel that this campaign is against the rules … even if it relates to the subject of the film, a comedy about adultery,” France’s advertising watchdog told French paper Le Parisien. “As a preventative measure, we’ve already counseled JC Decaux, who are in charge of the billboards, to take them down.” The spots will allegedly go down on Friday, but let’s be real. This isn’t the first time filmmakers have used sex to get people interested in their movies. In fact, take a minute and enjoy some of our favorite filthy movie posters, including that graphic Hungarian poster for Michael Fassbender‘s Shame. At least Jean didn’t take it there. Yet.

The Mad Men season premiere must be getting closer (March 25), because today we have two MM-related headlines that we’ve decided to mash-up into the story we’d really like to read. Story 1: Christina Hendricks and her slamming bod are on the cover of the March Cosmo U.K. In the interview, she talks very sweetly about how she met her husband, Geoffrey Arend, and what she thinks of being a sex symbol. “It’s incredibly flattering and surprising, and I didn’t think for a second when I started Mad Men that people would talk about me as being sexy or a pin up. ‘My husband has a good laugh about it, of course.’ ”

Story 2: Fashionista is reporting that after the success of their first Mad Men-inspired line, they’ll be releasing a second one, with 40 pieces of men’s and women’s clothing and accessories designed with the help of the show’s costume designer, Janie Bryant.

Now the story we’d like to read: Buying these items of Banana Republic clothing will instantly make you look like Christina Hendricks or Jon Hamm. I mean, really. It’s not the 1960s anymore, can’t science come up with this product?

Take note, all you spoilery movie trailer editors: This is how you give us multiple trailers that satisfy our craving (sorry) for new stuff, without giving up the whole movie. The second Hunger Games trailer doesn’t contain a single new scene that wasn’t in the teaser or the first theatrical trailer (except for this one glimpse of Katniss in a yellow dress, above), but it gives us new quotes and new camera angles that reveal just a little more about the characters and plot. For instance, what was just Gale’s voiceover from the teaser about her being stronger than the other tributes we now get to see coming from him directly. And the only thing that kind of bugs us, just because it’s so different from the book, is that opening moment with the pin (more on that later).

The general feeling of trailer #2 is less eerie (and the soundtrack has a lot to do with that), more dramatic. Katniss seems a little more vulnerable, while Peeta starts to come to life a little more. Flip through the gallery of 10 new things we noticed, and then let us know what you noticed too!

Only a fabulous ice queen like Madonna could say something nice about a fellow pop star and have it seem like an insult. Or did she insult her and have it feel like praise? We honestly don’t know! In her new interview with The Advocate, the “Give Me All Your Luvin” singer delivers her compliments for Lady Gaga the only way she knows how: with a powerful backhand. “I can see why she has a young gay following. I can see that they connect to her kind of not fitting into the conventional norm.” Madonna said of the “Born This Way” chanteuse. “I mean, she’s not Britney Spears. She’s not built like a brick s–thouse.” Ouch! Though…should Gaga want to be a “s–thouse”? It has the s word in it! Should Britney be offended now? Madonna, you are some kind of beef mastermind.

Compared to Madge’s previous comments about Lady Gaga, however, calling her a poorly constructed outhouse might be as close to an olive branch as we’re going to get. “I thought, What a wonderful way to redo my song. I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was … interesting,” Madonna told Newsweek last month with regards to Gaga’s “Born This Way,” having also snarked about Gaga’s “obsessions having to do with me” to French paper Le Soir in September. “She seems to have had a challenging upbringing, and so I can see where she would also have that kind of connection, a symbiotic relationship with gay men,” Madonna concludes to The Advocate. Thank…you? That is…sweet? We smell a…duets album?

They say with age comes wisdom, but in Christie Brinkley’s case, age also brings on even more beauty. The stunning birthday girl has graced CoverGirl ads, Sports Illustrated covers, and the big screen, but this supermodel turned actress is more than just your all-American beauty. This mom of three manages to run fragrance and jewelry lines, while strutting her stuff on the Broadway stage as Roxie Hart in the musical hit Chicago. She also devotes her “free” time to several charitable organizations, including the Make A Wish Foundation and the American Heart Association. She’s a model in more ways than one, no? Let’s celebrate Christie’s big 5-8 by marveling at how she hasn’t looked a day over 25 for the past 25 years.

To our 2011 selves who may have maybe for a minute doubted that Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence would make the right Peeta and Katniss in The Hunger Games, I present exhibit A: the actors’ latest interview with MTV News. The two are absolutely hilarious together, teasing and complimenting each other in a way that suggests they formed a real bond in the arena. Our favorite moment is when they’re asked what they’re looking forward to in the sequels, Catching Fire and Mockingjay. Major spoilers and video after the jump.

“We get married!” Lawrence says in a funny baby voice.

“We get married,” Hutcherson echoes, before squawking as he points to his ring finger.

“I kept doing that to him,” Lawrence says of the gesture. “Every time I would annoy him on set, I would go, ‘Aaack!’”

“Reminding me that we are going to get married,” he fills in.

“God, I sound really annoying whenever I talk about myself in the past,” she admits.

“But she’s charming in the here and now; that’s what’s important,” MTV’s Josh Horowitz offers.

“Is it?” Hutcherson returns quickly.

OMG, we cannot get enough of these two. Also, it sounds like we could be getting a lot of them when the movie comes out — well, the same amount of them but on a really big scale. Lionsgate announced that The Hunger Games will be reformatted for IMAX and play on the giant screens for one week when the film comes out on March 23. We will possibly wet our pants if we have to see the muttations that big.

Is Coco gunnin’ for the part of Rizzo in Grease? Ice-T‘s lovely missus rolled up to Good Morning America‘s Times Square headquarters today in a skintight top that would do the Pink Ladies proud. And with shoes to match! It may be cold outside, but she heated things up for the fans and photographers who braved the chill to get a glimpse of her famous behind. In leggings that left nothing to the imagination, she definitely didn’t disappoint!

But it wasn’t all about the booty for Coco today. She swung by the morning show to talk about her philanthropic work. The model tweeted before her appearance that she intended to donate some of her coats to charity. Smokin’ hot and kind? You’re a lucky man, Ice-T. Well, OK, as far as we know there are no actual ravens in Shiver author Maggie Stiefvater’s upcoming four-book series, but we are still super excited to see what kind of magic occurs in The Raven Boys, the first installment, due out September 18. Stiefvater, whose flesh-eating horse novel Scorpio Races not only won the prestigious Printz honor but also is also being adapted by Warner Bros., announced the new series this morning.

According to her publisher, Scholastic (that little house that also brought us The Hunger Games), the book is about two very different kids growing up in Virginia. Blue Sargent (name trend!) is the daughter of the town psychic, but she doesn’t really believe the prophecy that she’ll kill her true love if she kisses him. Richard “Dick” Campbell Gansey III is one of the rich boys attending the nearby Aglionby Academy, and despite seeming to have it all, he’s on a search for a mythological Welsh king who will supposedly grant a wish to the first person who finds him. Gansey and his private school friends call themselves the Raven Boys, hence the title. Somehow, these two cross paths.

It sounds like Maggie’s thought this story through pretty well, too. “I sat on a draft of The Raven Boys for a decade, but it wasn’t until I had the tools I learned from writing the Shiver trilogy and The Scorpio Races that I knew how to do it,” she says.

Knowing how well Stiefvater captures the roiling angst, wit and passion of teenagers — seriously, I wanted to spend days curled up in a ball writing emo poetry after finishing werewolf trilogy Shiver last year — these new books sound super intriguing.

We’re complete suckers for anything related to the Spice Girls. Including this bit of news that had us rolling with laughter (but in a good way). Geri Halliwell has a collaboration going with clothing company Next, and guess what she decided to design from them? An entire Union Jack clothing line, as you can see above. She unveiled it in London earlier today, wearing a sequined version of her own design — the flag sheath dress. It’s an obvious pimping of her iconic Union Jack-Spice Girls look, but who cares? What’s the bet that it’ll totally sell out?

Just reading about the battles between Courtney Love and her daughter Frances Bean Cobain really tires us out. They’re so explosive! We’re going to hear a lot more from them after they read about this story put together by The Fix. Maer Roshan first interviewed Courtney back in 2010 and has kept in touch with her ever since. That interview was published last May, and now it’s being transformed into an e-book called Courtney Comes Clean that reveals a whole lot of other information about the troubled sometimes-singer. This includes some truly shocking details from Frances’ sealed deposition against her mother from 2009, and more drug-related confessions from Courtney.

The e-book tells us about some strange revelations about her crack use, detailing, “The strange thing is, while the crack screwed me up in a lot of ways, it improved me in certain others. I’ve never been good with numbers, but when I was on crack I could do math really, really well. I became a f—ing whiz at calculus.” Or how Frances Bean’s deposition states, “[Love] has taken drugs for as long as I can remember. She basically exists now on … Xanax, Adderall, Sonata and Abilify, sugar and cigarettes. She rarely eats …. She often falls asleep in her bed while she is smoking, and I am constantly worried that she will start a fire (which she has done at least three times) that will threaten our lives.”

It also reveals an incident outside former boyfriend James Barber’s home. Frances wrote, “She took me in a taxi to his house in the middle of the night, and from outside the house, in her bare feet, she screamed at him, threw rocks at the house and threatened to burn his house down. His children were inside the house, but that did not stop my mother.” Disturbing, but we have to admit, it’s an insanely compelling read.

First let’s just get how good Blake Lively looks on the March cover of Elle out of the way. Because this is one of the best covers we’ve seen in a very long time. It’s chic, beautifully understated and the hair, makeup and styling is spot on. The shoot inside is a different story altogether, because can someone say steamy? What we find interesting in the interview is how Blake reveals, “I’ve had four boyfriends in my whole life. I’ve never been with anyone that’s not a boyfriend. If I spend time with a man, it’s because there’s somebody that I know well who has been a friend for a while.” Does this include Ryan Reynolds, her current flame? And Leonardo DiCaprio, the ex of a couple of months ago? And can someone point out that Blake is only 24 so her “whole life” doesn’t really apply here? Because we have a feeling we’re going to see a fair amount of A-Listers on Blake’s arm in the future.

That was quick. Didn’t we just publish that story about Sarah Jessica Parker winning Demi Moore’s Lovelace role from Mary Louise Parker? Demi had to give up her part playing Gloria Steinem because of her “exhaustion” and health troubles. The deed was done rather quickly — it’s been less than a week since the story broke — and SJP has already swanned into her replacement role with ease. That’s how H’town works. These photographs emerged of Parker at the Lovelace set and she looks … authentic? She does fit into the vibe of the ’70s quite nicely, we think. Do you?
