Claire Danes Hams It Up As The Hasty Pudding 2012 Woman Of The Year

Claire Danes received the Hasty Pudding Theatricals’ 2012 Woman of the Year at Harvard University yesterday and had herself a ball through the event (even though she’s a Yale girl!). You only have to consider the photograph above of her sitting in a Bentley convertible, driving through the streets, to know that’s not hyperbole. She won the award because of her “indelible mark on the world of entertainment, in both drama and comedy.” Jason Segel is the Man of the Year, and his ceremony goes down next week, on Friday, February 3. You know that’s going to be a blast. We’ve normally viewed Claire as quite sedate having only her red carpet behavior as the benchmark, so it’s awesome to see her cut loose like this.
