VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul airs Monday, Dec. 19 at 9PM EST, but you don’t have to wait a minute longer to ogle Jennifer Hudson — and ogle you will! Representing soul for Chicago, Jennifer showed up at the red carpet wearing sparkling thigh-high boots and a very short beige dress.

For her first performance of the night, a collaboration with Mary J. Blige and Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer slipped into a form-fitting, floor-length spectacle made of jewels.
Then she performed a duet with Jessie J, wearing a purple and pink mini-dress adorned with what looks to be rhinestones and fringe.
And, finally, backstage, Jennifer slipped into something more comfortable.
