Lindsay Lohan Misses Paris Fashion Show, Flops First DJ Night

No, Lindsay Lohan isn’t doing a Pirates Of The Caribbean sketch with Fred Armisen on SNL tomorrow. The chipped fashionplate was just hanging out with Christian Dior designer pal John Galliano earlier today at Paris Fashion Week. Sadly, LiLo reportedly arrived too late to take a front row seat alongside Jared Leto and Charlize Theron at the Dior show itself, with security sending her back to her hotel to sulk instead.

This embarrassment comes painfully soon after word that her debut celebrity DJ gig Wednesday failed to please the party people at London’s Sketch. “Lindsay was clearly struggling to play the set on her own and had to ask [DJ Gareth Geno] for help. She seemed like a total drunken, incoherent mess…It was really embarrassing to watch. You could tell she didn’t didn’t know what she was doing.” Adding insult to injury, Geno’s assistance was taken as proof of a love connection by the eager beavers at the Mirror (who also say she screamed “Dance! I feel like I’m in a f—ing zoo!” at the gawking crowd). Lindsay dismissed the rumors in a since-deleted tweet (“I’m NOT dating him. lies lies lies.”), but it sounds like such gossip is the least of her problems. Demi Moore Is Hotter Now Than She Was At 26

Back in 1989, Demi Moore was seemingly at the top of her game. Married to Bruce Willis, the 26-year-old’s star was on the rise to the point where she was forgiven (and possibly even lauded) for her fashion choices like the awful dress/bike short number she wore to the 1989 Academy Awards. Seriously. That Spanx-y look was stylish back then.

More than twenty years later, Moore is now married to Ashton Kutcher and looks better than she ever has. Case in point, her appearance last night at the Pre-Oscar Domino Hollywood Gala Benefit in a gorgeous blue gown that makes her look gorgeous (and not quite so dated like her other look). Lady Gaga Refers To Lady Gaga As Lady Gaga

We know by now that Lady Gaga is unique, but in an interview with the New York Times Style Magazine that’s well worth reading in its entirety, she radiates more than just unique. Instead she delves into truly bizarre territory. It’s unsurprising but fascinating anyway, and she gets into a lot of detail about her glamorous persona, leaving her old self behind, and how she does it all for her fans. Some of the choicest bits are below.

On who she turns to for support: ”I have a spiritual guide, not a therapist but someone who in my mind is connected with a higher being, and he helps me a lot. What I like about him is that he doesn’t speak to me like I am a normal person. He understands that I have an eccentric way of life and personality. And he also understands that I am famous, and I appreciate that. He tells me that I no longer serve my life in the normal way that people serve their life, that I must serve the greater good in my service to the universe. And for me, it’s my fans. I only serve my fans.”

More on her love for her fans: “It’s almost like I want to hypnotize them so when they hear my music they love themselves instantly.”

On referring to herself in the third person: “I talk about myself in the third person all the time. I don’t live my life in the way someone like you does. I live my life completely serving only my work and my fans. And that way, I have to think about not what is best for my vagina but what is best for my fans and for me artistically.”

We don’t know what her vagina has to do with it, but we love her anyway!

As Hilton’s go, Nicky is the one who seems to have her life together, and we’ve always admired her sense of style. Take for instance her effortless, cool leggings look (we like the outfit, which is a shock considering we fall into the “leggings are not pants” camp), with a leopard coat. We love the whole ensemble, especially her red ballet flats. Unfortunately, her chicness didn’t translate when she got dressed last night for the Domino Pre-Oscar Hollywood Gala Benefit. Hilton showed up in a droopy, 80′s-inspired dress that’s just one puffed sleeve away from being part of the Dynasty wardrobe. Her heavy diamond necklace (which we don’t doubt is real) might be worth a lot, but it adds a “My Nana lent me her jewels!” aspect to the entire thing too. So many pre-Oscar parties, so little time! Despite having to hustle from the 3rd Annual Women In Film Pre-Oscar Party in LA to the Hollywood Domino’s 3rd Annual Pre-Oscar Hollywood Gala in Beverly Hills yesterday (what exactly happened three years ago? Did Cali pass a pre-Oscar party tax incentive?), Camilla Belle found the time to totally change her look for each fete. With that kind of party-hopping professionalism, you’d almost think the 10,000 BC star was up for something!

We fully realize that this post is the latest in a series dedicated to our old-fogey selves wondering what in the hell gets Taylor Momsen so pissed off all the time. She does realize that, at sixteen, she doesn’t have that much to be angry about, right? It’s not like she’s worried about paying off her mortgage or has a sick kid to take care of (yeah, those are our two go-to “life is hard” situations).

Yet she always looks like she’s given up on life and is taking it out on the world in the form of a bitter, burning glare. We used to just stomp up the stairs and listen to our Pearl Jam CDs, but we guess when you’re a celebrity teen, the stakes are higher and you just have to direct your eff-you attitude at the paparazzi. This shot was taken during a BMI Music Panel yesterday, and Tay looks like she couldn’t be less thrilled to be there. If we could title this photo, we’d go with “Raccoon Eyes And Apathy”.
