We did not Photoshop the above photo. Victoria’s Secret models Erin Heatherton, Adriana Lima and Chanel Iman‘s heads are really that big in proportion to their teeny waists. Don’t get us wrong, these gorgeous ladies are supermodels for a reason, and a downward camera angle certainly played a part in this Coney Island-esque photo, but are our Angels getting a little too thin? Criticizing women for being skinny is as annoying as getting on women for being overweight (our genes are our genes, ya know?), but still – aren’t they promoting attire that flaunts some booty and boobs?
These photos have us yearning for the days of curvaceous lingerie models, the hay days of Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum, who had a lil’ sumthin’-sumthin’ to fill their bras and hips where their thongs could hang. Should these waify beauties transfer to the runway? Or should Victoria’s Secret just recruit some curvier ladies to join their crew? Let us know in the comments.

They are very beautiful woman. But realisticly they are very skinny. They need more models like Tyra Banks… Sexy, not stick boney.. I dont want my chidren starving themselves to look like these ladies. Everybody has there own opinion and thats mines. Like i said there gorgeous but need some meat on there bones!
Some girls are just SKINNNNNYYY!!! Geez!!!
I hate it when it is okay to talk about how skinny girls are, but it’s not okay to talk about how fat girls are, They are just curvy, Whatever!!
Thank you, I was just thinking about the same thing today. Chanel Iman, she is one of the most high fashion models in the business, or once was. Not to mention one of the skinniest. I look up to models because I would love to work with some one day, and I am out raged that a brand such as Victoria’s Secret would hire skinny models. They are suppose to be more about boobs and butts. Adriana is one with boobs, Marisa Miller has a very skinny midsection but she has very good assets. Then there is Candice Swanepoel, who has a great midsection and at least has boobs and a butt. Come one Victoria Secret, by december, I hope to see more shapely and bigger girls on the runway.
Can I get a Amen!
These women are beautiful – I’m gonna give them that. But, I really feel like we need real women representing the real women of this world. Not women that attribute to the insecurity that most women already have. We do not need to be a size 1 to feel good about ourselves. We just need to be healthy. It would be nice to see some curves, and shape. Not bones. And hey, my big question is, do men really like?
