Mark Wahlberg Joins A Funky Bunch Of Celebrities On Walk Of Fame

What’s funny about this picture is that it actually looks like Mark Wahlberg is telling the photographer “Say hello to your mother for me.” But of course he wasn’t really, because Wahlberg was too preoccupied accepting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Wahlberg’s co-star in the upcoming film The Other Guys, Will Ferrell, was on hand to present him with the honor, and in his acceptance speech, Wahlberg said “When I heard I was getting this star, I felt like it was a practical joke.” Hey, we sorta feel the same way! We’ve followed Wahlberg ever since he was Marky Mark (“Good Vibrations” is the unofficial state song of our home state of Massachusetts, you know) and we have to say, it’s hard to believe the former rapper responsible for lines like “Vibrations good like Sunkist, many wanna know who done this” was able to shed that corny image to become so successful. Ke$ha, there’s hope for you yet!
