Elin Nordegren probably didn’t see this one coming either. Her divorce settlement from Tiger Woods is the largest sum that has ever been awarded in a celebrity divorce. Elin’s getting $750 MILLION from the divorce, with a precept that Tiger can’t bring his various girlfriends near the children as well. The only time he can introduce a woman to his children is if he’s planning to put a ring on it ! Ummm, we think he’s probably not going to re-marry for a while at least. Ladies who are allowed around the kids are married women not romantically linked to Woods and female staff members with whom Elin is familiar.
But there’s a reason why she’s getting such a monumental payout. In return, Elin can never speak about his flings with his 17-or-more ladies out in public. A source revealed, “Elin is desperate to protect the children from the womanizing side of their father. Tiger’s main fear is her telling her story after he’s rebuilt his reputation, sending him back to the gutter.”
Elin’s lawyers have really gone for the kill here, getting her way more than she originally thought she was worth. But is it worth it for Elin if she can never have her say? They’ve literally put a gag order on her for the rest of her life, a friend explained. “Elin’s legal team have done a great job digging up all sorts of assets. The price of the huge sum is her silence: no interviews, tell-all books, or TV appearances about this for the rest of her life – even if Tiger dies first – or she’ll lose the lot.”
Looks like she’s okay to stay mum because all systems are go. The friend added, “Everything’s signed. Elin is ready to file for divorce at Orlando County Court. She expects to in the next seven days.”
Tiger’s making sure he doesn’t lose out on time with the kids. The deal is that Nordegren gets sole physical custody but they will split legal custody, so Nordegren can’t up and leave without consulting Tiger, who will be allowed to see the kids for half of every week. The custody agreement will be negotiable in five years, and the source revealed, “Elin admits that despite everything, Tiger loves his kids and has been a decent dad. She is confident he will not pursue seeing the children that much, due to his work and lifestyle.”
So, that’s that. Tiger was a complete pig, but who knew Elin could be such a shark?

Knew when? First you suspect, then you confirm, then you confront which she did very aggressively which turned public. What difference does it make when she found out? Tiger cheated on her while they were married. I think what needs to be said is that Tiger knew. Tiger knew if he got caught cheating this would end badly and he would lose a lot of money. Oh, my bad……he probably thought he was exempt and could get away with it. Anyone who is rich and cheats ends up paying big. I just don’t understand why they bother getting married.
The institution of marriage has become an absolute joke! Yes, he was dead wrong, but I guarantee you she knew who she was marrying before she said “I do”. Makes me sick to see people behave this way, But who am I to judge anyone……..
This is unfathomable and will turn marriage, especially those of celebrities and high-paid businessman, into strictly business. Because now, love will take a backseat to money and the institution of marriage itself, under God, becomes a sham because of all of the money involved.
What Tiger did was 1000% wrong and she should probably divorce him for it but what did she actually contribute to the $750 mil. she is getting? She married him and had two children. She wasn’t Earl; she wasn’t Tida; she wasn’t his agents, lawyers, swing coaches, caddies. She wasn’t anyone who contributed to his success as golfer and endorser. She was a very pretty woman that “he” decided to marry who bought what? to the table.
Was it worth it Tiger? Now all the other wifes’ take note, “Thats How You Do It!” when he gose around laying up with any female that opens her legs or mouth like she doesn’t know he’s a married man. That a pre-nupt to the 10th power, BOO-YAH
She Does NOT need that much money… I was with her on this until now… USER!!! WOW… They give anything to folks these days… What a waste! As long as he takes care the kids.. that is all she needed….
This is probably a vast exaggeration of the true value of the settlement. I don’ t believe Tiger is really worth a billion dollars. maybe someday, maybe in career earnings by the time he’s 60, but not now.
Um, she deserves every cent she gets! Some of you are coming down on her but think about all of the public humiliation that this has caused for her! Whether she knew about it or not it doesn’t matter! HE IS THE ONE WHO TOOK THE RISK BY CHEATING AND PUBLICLY HUMILIATING HIMSELF, HIS WIFE, AND HIS CHILDREN!
He makes so much money anyways and she has had to stand by him while he’s out there screwing everything that walks by! Cheaters are disgusting!

Let’s not forget, he never used protection, so her life could and was a risk for AIDS or any STD. I don’t agree with the amount of money she is getting, but she deserves a good settlement. I still like to watch Tiger play golf.
I like the settlement fairly well. Kids need to be able to love both parents no matter what; because if bad stuff is continually said about a parent it hurts the kids the most. When you speak badly about a parent who was this or that it psychologically messes with the kids DNA. I think that it speaks the volumes of a book or play that might’ve been eventually written for Elin to be prevented from doing so. Think about it. If someone is prevented from telling what actually went down all those years it only makes the public realize that he was worse than we could imagine. I used to think Tiger was “just about a mile wide and 10 miles tall”; no more. I think Elin is going to be okay in time. But, speaking from experience, it takes alot of years go through to the point you can pick yourself up and reclaim your identity. A woman loses herself in a regular marriage, so often. Even moreso in a high profile one. The emotional pain is always there and you never forget. The kids will eventually have to bear the pain of what their “Dad” did to the family; and for that reason, I think they might ought to have been awarded some kind of settlement of their own. Money will never take away the memory, but it can be used to do good in the world. I think Elin is just that kind of woman. She’l'l do good things with her settlement. She’s more classy than El Tigre ever thought about being. My prayers are with Elin and the kids. And, Tiger will continue to be lifted up in prayer. Pray for this family, always.

FYI Skip–women who are rich also pay alimony in divorces, ala Elizabeth Taylor and others–look it up.
And as stated, Elin wasn’t seeking that much from the divorce settlement–the settlement amount was as much a surprise to her as it probably as to Tiger. In the end she probably won’t end up with that much anyway.
As to Elin being a shark–I don’t see her sleeping with 17 men–but then that is what is wrong with this country–no matter what males do they always feel victimized when they finally have to pay for their nasty actions.

She knew. She didn’t move on it until she got mad, he trashed the car, and it became public. She knew and was going along with it. If he had of been Tiger Woods the caddy, she would have never looked at him. He hasn’t lost anything though.
Elin knew what she was doin’ when she married Tiger,she and the kids are and will be well taken care for life. Now she needs to remember what goes around comes around. Tiger better keep his &@+&%+“*+*$`_` on the golf course and not in some tramps bed, child support is a high price to pay, he must handle his biznezz . It’s not how hard you fall, its how fast you get up.
I bet he’ll think twice before marries again, and make some babies.
