Nicholas “Xander” Brendon Headed To Rehab

Nicholas Brendon, best known for playing crush-crazy Xander on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, is headed to rehab. The actor’s decision to seek counseling follows his recent arrest for felony vandalism after he knocked in a neighbor’s door to search for his dog (Brendon has blamed a mix of alcohol and sleeping aids). According to Radar, the actor doesn’t remember the confrontation but snapped back to consciousness in time for his police tasing. “Being tased is like being punched in the side by Rocky Balboa, the pain is so bad it runs up your spine.”

“I was in treatment in 2005 and unfortunately I had a relapse,” he reportedly told their source. “In the back of my mind, I always knew I had a problem but it became clear to me when I got arrested.” Since his stint on Buffy, Brendon has appeared in several TV movies as well as shows like Kitchen Confidential and Criminal Minds.
