Is there peace in Reading? The Gosselin sextuplets’ 6th birthday appeared to go off without a hitch yesterday, with Jon & Kate‘s divorce drama taking a backseat to the festivities. The day started with mom dropping them off at the bus, but it was dad that picked them up after school, taking them to his new apartment to enjoy a rather public display of balloons and silly string (Jon even sprayed the paps—was he doing this for their benefit or is his place too small to hold all the kids?).
Dad took the kids back to Mom in the evening, leading to this priceless portrait of the joyless Kate trying to keep herself in check as Jon, the unemployed cheat who threatened to take away her custody, bumbles out to call his latest girlfriend or dream someone will give him his own show.
