Lindsay Lohan Done With Ungaro, Suing E-Trade For $100 Million

Lindsay Lohan

What does it say when you hit every company’s show at Paris Fashion Week except the one you allegedly work for? Lindsay Lohan—whose first show for Ungaro flopped last year—was notably absent from this season’s show, and the label is making clear she had no part in designing this season whatsoever. Though the company has yet to confirm all ties have been severed, it’s hard to imagine she’d be AWOL otherwise. Then again, maybe she was just really, really late.

While Lohan may be saying goodbye to one paycheck, more cash may await her soon. The star has filed suit against E-Trade for a Super Bowl ad featuring a “milkaholic” wild child who just happened to share her first name. “Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit,” her lawyer told the New York Post. “They used the name Lindsay. They’re using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn’t they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody’s talking about it and saying it’s Lindsay Lohan.” For the tarnishing and exploitation of her first name, the adult Lindsay wants $50 million in exemplary damages and $50 million in compensatory damages. Hey, you have to make your milk money somehow.

Poor Lindsay, she thinks she’s still relevant.

Lindsay Lohan. I hate to tell you, but your not all that. When did she incorperate/patent/copyright the name Lindsay? How is she sure that they intended for her name to be used? What if they used Lindsey, Lindsy, or Lindsee. Can she prove that they used her exact spelling? She has hit rock bottom so hard and that she needs a payday so bad, she is filing a ridiculous lawsuit? Give me a break. Why dont you focus all this energy towards rebuilding your career, Lindsay Lohan.

What a joke!! I love that commercial and never ONCE thought of that twit Lohan. She’s just looking for more $ because her fame is over. Sorry Ms. Lohan. Hope you saved some $.

  • RockFan says:

Wow. I’d have never made that connection in a million years. The commercial would have had the same impact with any name. In my eyes, it was just well done fun, as are all the E-Trade commercials. If anything, this will only bring more good attention for E-Trade as the masses come to their defense. It does nothing positive for Lohan. What in the world was she thinking? There have to be less costly ways to get in the news.

How narcessistic is she to think it is about her. Or is this just a ridiculous cry for money showing why so many people hate lawyers.

  • Lindsay says:

She needs to get over herself…she is not a star that is known by one name like Madonna, Cher, Pink, etc….in her dreams!

  • steff says:

you guys are slow. it was obvious who the reference was about.

  • G-Mom says:

I used to be a big fan of Lindsey’s, but now she’s just sad. Tragic even. She must be really desparate for money to try to pull this stunt. There are a lot of girls named “Lindsey”. It never entered my mind that they were referring to her. Really sad……

I loved that commercial. I was cracking up. When that baby popped her head in there saying “milkawhat”…LOL

All what people are saying it. This is the first I’ve heard anyone connect the two. I sure as hell didn’t that about her.

  • emma says:

On one hand: To be honest, I did make the connection when I saw the ad.

On the other: SO WHAT?! There’s no merit in her case to speak of. And the connection is still kinda ambiguous because, as you all rightly point out, this nutjob is no way as recognisable as Madonna or Cher.
