Taylor Momsen is a busy 16-year-old. She’s filming “Gossip Girl,” recording her Pretty Reckless album, applying eyeliner, and thinking up new ways to rebel against her parents. How can we expect her to think about, let alone care about, devastating natural disasters?!
While promoting her new fragrance at Victoria’s Secret last night, she was asked by OK! if she had plans to follow the lead of Angelina Jolie, Wyclef Jean, or George Clooney in helping those affected by this week’s 7.0-magnitude earthquake in Haiti. The apparently vacant-headed Momsen replied “Um, right now I’m trying to just finish my record and getting through the last season of Gossip Girl for right now. So not so much thinking about that.” Great role model for young girls everywhere. [Source: OK!; Photo: Splash News Online]

I feel like this little girl needs to feel the heat of the shallow things that she said so she can see that she is a role modle and that’s how she makes her money off her people who admires her and if she doesn’t like that then don’t be famous
ewww
I can relate to that, as much as its been on the news, I’m not really checkin for it either, sorry!
I’ll bet she can’t even find Haiti on a map.The rest of us with a heart & a brain will do what we can.
I don’t know why you are all surprised. She’s 16 and most 16 year olds are not thinking about anything other than what affects them. It would be nice if more of our youth were more globally conscious but the truth is, the majority are not.
inconsiderate lil slut!
