Kate’s New Reality Show: Working, Not Dating

Kate Gosselin

You knew the day would come—Kate Gosselin is coming back to TV. According to The Wrap, the mother of eight will leave her brats behind (as legally mandated by ex-husband Jon) to try on different hats in the workplace (she was spotted working as a waitress in North Carolina last month). She’ll be “trying different jobs and tasks and showing how she performs in the different environments,” says their source, with fans engaging in an “interactive” component. Beyond sounding like a rip-off of New York Goes To Work, having Kate hop from job to job is sure to piss off old JoGo, who’s suing TLC because he can’t find one.

Not that this buzz is official. According to TLC, the network hasn’t confirmed anything. “This is just the latest speculation from supposed sources, last week everyone was announcing ‘Date Kate‘” said an exec (and we’re still rooting for it!). “We are still in development and looking at a number of ideas.” They better find one soon, though—celebrity status can’t survive on hair extensions alone.
