EXCLUSIVE: Alex Reid: Getting Dumped On National TV Was “Horrible”

Cage fighter Alex Reid is moving on with his life after being dumped on national TV by his former girlfriend, glamour model Katie Price. “It was hard at first,” Alex tells The FABlife, “I am on the front page of the papers in the UK every day, they call me everything from a loser to a cross dresser. I was dumped on national TV. It was horrible!” Katie split from husband Peter Andre in May and quickly made the athletic Alex her new beau, even allowing him to take care of her children, which angered her former husband.

Alex, however, is picking up the pieces and moving on with his career. “I am producing a movie about cage fighters and UFC, and it’s going really well,” Alex told TheFABlife at the Beverly Hills Hotel last night, where he was spotted with a cute blond. A pal affectionately said of his apparent “upgrade” in women, “You had McDonalds and now you have filet mignon.” It looks like Alex is moving on with his career – AND love life! Lady Gaga Falls Twice At Tour Opener

Lady Gaga kicked off her new tour in Montreal Friday, and it looks like she’s off to shaky start. The pants-phobic singer fell at least twice during the concert, once during the opening of “Teeth” and later while pogo-ing to “Poker Face.” The show was a smash—she quickly returned to her feet both time— but she wouldn’t have to worry if she’d just replace the heels with ballet flats. Between the crazy get-ups and back-up dancers, it’s not like we’d notice what’s on her feet anyway! Check out photos from the show in the gallery below.

Jake Gyllhenhaal and Reese Witherspoon are not splitting up, despite rumors to the contrary. People announced that the couple, who met on the set of Rendition in 2007, were finished on Sunday afternoon, crediting a source close to the Oscar-winning actress. Unfortunately for single ladies everywhere, reps from both sides denied the story in a matter of hours (“It’s not true…they’re still together”). How about they seal the deal by having one host SNL again soon and the other show up in a skit? Nothing says “happy couple” in Celebrity-land more than that.

Katie Holmes made a rare solo appearance on the red carpet to promote the Dizzy Feet Foundation, which helps underprivileged kids get dance training, in Hollywood last night. Tom Cruise is off in Europe filming Knight And Day with Cameron Diaz, and it looks like he took her assistant with him—her white jacket and short black skirt were stylish enough, but her hair was giving her grief on stage and off. Marrying Cruise is supposed to make you more glamorous, Katie!

Though E! says Holmes is eager for her hubby to judge alongside fellow Dizzy Feet backer Nigel Lythgoe on So You Can Think You Dance, her quote (“He would be great…he really would”) is vague enough we’re guessing she isn’t the one who brought it up. It’s not like she even knows when she might be back on the show. “I don’t know [if I'll be on again]…I don’t know, but it was a great time.” If only Tom was there to field these hard questions.

Chelsea Clinton Engaged

Chelsea Clinton is engaged to boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky, representatives for former President Bill Clinton confirmed to ABC News. The pair announced their engagement the day after Thanksgiving.

We’re sorry for the mass email but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn’t get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea & Marc.

Chelsea is the only child of Bill and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Mezvinsky, the son of two former U.S. Representatives (father Ed served a multi-year prison term for fraud, ending in 2008), is an investment banker who has known Clinton since adolescence—even attending Stanford with her—though the pair did not begin dating until 2007. The National Enquirer erroneously reported in April that they were set to marry last summer.

Pamela Bach Arrested For DUI (Again) After David Hasselhoff Goes To Hospital (Again)

Pamela Bach, ex-wife of David Hasselhoff, was arrested in LA for drunk driving Saturday, according to TMZ. Coincidentally (or not), her America’s Got Talent ex was taken to the hospital Friday—Radar Online says it was for psychiatric evaluation, but the Hoff’s lawyers won’t confirm. While Bach says she was consoling her daughters during the day, she admits to having more than a couple drinks at dinner after leaving them (“I am going through a really difficult time between David being in the hospital and dealing with the divorce”). This is Bach’s second DUI arrest this year, and if charged, jail time is mandatory. Hasselhoff was released from the hospital Sunday, with his lawyer saying the actor is “fine.” Hasselhoff has required emergency medical attention for his alcohol issues several times this year.

Nick Hogan In Accident Following Car Safety Event

Nick Hogan was involved in a minor car accident Saturday night. According to TMZ, there were no injuries and police didn’t bother write a report—lucky for Nick, since he’s still on probation for the 2007 crash that landed him in jail.

Here’s the funny thing— Hulk Hogan‘s son was heading home from a charity dinner for Keep It On The Track, raising money to promote car safety. While there’s no word on who was at fault for the fender bender, we hope this scare will keep the repeat offender on the right track all the same.
