Jessica Szohr Sticking With Ed Westwick: “A Really Rad Guy”

For a show that treats sex like a vengeful game of musical chairs, Gossip Girl has a surprising amount of happy couples among its cast. There’s Penn Badgley and Blake Lively, Sebastian Stan and Leighton Meester, and Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick. Despite rumors that the pair were splitting last summer, Szohr is practically gushing about the boy in the new issue of Teen Vogue. “He’s a really rad guy. He’s awesome and smart and talented and adorable, and we make each other laugh. We go to dinners, have nights by ourselves and fun romantic times in general. And I like just cuddling up on the couch.” Chuck Bass is a cuddler? Stop, before we catch cooties!

Szohr admits things were “awkward” when the pair began dating, a few months before they were spotted smooching at a Knicks game in February. “[We started] as friends…all of a sudden [you have feelings for] someone you’d call to talk about a different boyfriend. But there wasn’t a lot of thinking and talking. It kind of just happened. We had fun together, and we were like, ‘All right, let’s see where this goes.’” Considering the chaos on screen, we can’t believe it’s still going.
