TMZ is reporting that actress Brittany Murphy has died of cardiac arrest. According to the site, paramedics responded to a call placed early this morning at her husband’s house; she was later pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Best known for her work in movies such as Clueless, 8 Mile and Riding In Cars With Boys, she was just 32 years old.
This is obviously sad news, and comes at the end of a year that’s been particularly saturated with celebrity deaths. Our thoughts are with her family and friends. Brittany, pictured above earlier this month, will always be remembered by her epic moments in Clueless. To borrow a line from the movie, this news is “way harsh, Tai.” Way harsh.

I am in utter shock at finding out that Britney Murphy has left us. She was sooo vibrant, beautiful, and young. She was always smiling every time you ever saw her. She was in the top 3 of my favorite actresses. My wishes are with her family and her friends. For some reason God called this Angel home. He needed her up there more than we did here on earth I guess……I LOVE YOU BRITTNEY!!! RIP
RIP Brittany Murphy. You were way to young and full of life to leave us so soon! I will truely miss you and now I want to collect your movies! You will forever life on. =(

Sorry to hear of such a horrable loss
I cant belive she died .She was like my idol.LOL.
this is sad news to us all. for those who enjoyed watching her in movies and her beautiful smile and all around joy for life. i came across the site when i logged on and i couldn’t believe it when i read it. this is sure to be another shocking but sad death to the world of entertainment. you say to yourself sometimes ” wouldn’t it be sad if he or she died ” ?? this is one that’s going to make the people who knew and loved her very very sad. she was young, beautiful and vibrant and could make those who laugh whenever she did something funny or when she was acting the role of a character, it was fun to watch and you knew you were going to laugh. she will be remembered and dearly missed. may she rest in peace

This is a great reminder to all the young and not so young actors, keep on taking all those drugs prescribed by your doctors, and drugs not prescribed by your doctors and this is the end result. Because no matter what anyone says, those drugs she was taking had alot to do with her death. Yes she had diabetes and yes some say she had an eating disorder, which I’m sure had some to do with her death. But, in the end, if she wouldn’t have been taking all those pills, I don’t think the diabetes would have killed her at such a young age.
The pills were the nails in her coffin. Hollywood please stop this killing behavior.

I was so sad to hear Brittany had passed away. She was so funny in her movies and she was like the best actress ever. They say the good die young,well this is a perfect example of that.One thing about her will always be with me and that is her smile.She had the sweetest smile and that will always remind me of her. God bless the family and my prayers are with you. Be strong cause you will be with her again.
