Kate Cries On Plus Eight Finale: Show Ended “Too Soon”

Kate Gosselin doesn’t want to quit you, TLC. The slightly-more-upscale Octomom reminded us why everyone hated her (before Jon Gosselin discovered his inner Ed Hardy) on the Jon & Kate Plus 8 series finale last night, crying over the premature end of her children’s time on television. “I feel like it ended so suddenly, and I feel like it’s been taken from us, from me and that kids. I never had a clear picture of how it would end, but I think it’s too soon,” said Kate, moaning, “It’s sad, it’s needless, it’s useless, it was totally avoidable.” Yes, it’s always tragic when a family loses its camera crew. But look at the bright side, Kate. Maybe your kids aren’t entirely warped by having their every waking moment documented on tape yet.

Though the primary custody she’ll receive in the divorce may keep her from buying a badass NY apartment like JoGo did (”When I get sick of the city and all the press and the media, I go back to my country place and I’m chill. So it’s like I got the best of both worlds right now”), there are plenty of opportunities in the entertainment world. Who knows? With Jon saying he “knows how to be friends with Kate” (sure hope he’s not talking about those flowers), maybe the kids will be back in front of the cameras as soon as Jon and TLC’s dueling multi-million dollar lawsuits are settled. Not too late to start teaching them to sing and dance, either!
