Miley Cyrus may only be 16, but she is already above it all. Fresh off admitting she has never heard Jay-Z nor has any desire to, the pop star declared in two different interviews (so far!) this week that she doesn’t have the slightest bit of interest in Twilight. “I’ve never seen it and nor will I ever,” she told Ohio’s Q92 Sunday. “I don’t believe in it. I don’t like vampires. I don’t like any of the stuff. I don’t like the wolf that pops out of the screen when I’m watching my TV at night. I don’t like it. I don’t want anything to do with it. I don’t like the shirts. I don’t like any of it.” Not even Taylor’s abs?!
She repeated her objections to Dave Smiley’s radio show Monday. “It’s a cult…don’t even talk about it…my sister is obsessed…why? I don’t get it. It’s like Star Wars or Harry Potter.” Wow, nothing but Criterion Collection DVDs and Nina Simone albums for Hannah Montana, apparently! Either that or she hates anything that takes space from her at the poster store.

“It’s a dumb site and anyone who has it in ten years is going to realize it’s such a waste of time…when I look back at when I was in Nashville, I was not on my computer after school. I was outside, I was doing sports, I was cheering…kids will know, like, why you’re out of shape, it’s because you’re at the computer.” Wow, way to make us rethink things, Miley. I’ll admit that I don’t like the movies that much. They don’t have as much detail and it’s a little confusing the way the put it all together. But I LOVE the books. How can she not like something she’s never seen? Wow. Shows how dumb some people can be when they want to sound so smart.

I agree that she can have her own opinion, but in MY opinion is that she is jealous. She is probably jealous that something is bigger than the Hannah Montana sensation that has basically fizzled now.
I don’t have to see the Saw movies to know I won’t like them if the thought of watching people getting tortured already puts me off. If someone else is put off by vampires, it goes without saying they aren’t likely to enjoy a movie about them. That’s like saying someone who doesn’t like peas is stupid if they don’t want to eat split pea soup. If they already know they don’t like the main ingredient, of course they won’t like it.
Who cares what she does and doesn’t like, anyway? It’s not even anything important. They’re just books/movies.

Her parents obviously didn’t call her Miley when she was little since her name was Destiny according to the movies she had small roles in when she was younger. She wants to sit there and complain about how the world has changes in the past 16 years she should talk about the cell phone that was attached to her hand the entire interview and the name that she changed to make herself sound more popular.
She IS cool! She has a strong will and opinion….but don’t most of us? She DOESN’T have to please us with her answers to questions…otherwise it wouldn’t be MILEY talking so just get off her back!
