Beyonce, I use to like her. Lately she has become very slutish. I just saw her new video, “Video Phone”. I am a parent of a twelve year girl that likes to listen to music. I wonder how she feels about sending that kind of message to young girls that look up to her. REALLY CLASSY BEYONCE!
I have to say the new video that I just saw with Beyonce and Lady Gaga is the worst video I have ever seen. To see two grown women grinding on guns is very upsetting. These days society is watching the news on tv with headlines that involve rape, shootings, children being sold, and people killing each other over the smallest things. I would think that these two women could find a better way to make a music video. They should make videos that impower women and give younger girls someone to look up to in a postive way. Shame on the singers, the director of this video and any parent that lets their child see this video. It is such a shame that young people do not get to see the beauty in music these days. From a women and a mother I have to say if we don’t stop this type of video what hope do we have to change the world for our children. I really thought that Beyonce was a classer person then what I just witnessed.

Ok and guess what? If you have control over your kids, then whenever this video comes on turn it off. Nobody is forcing your children to watch this, and if your feel it’s inappropriate then there’s no way for them to be exposed to “Beyonce’s Class-less-ness”.. In my opinion, the video was hot and very artistic. It was very well done and worth the hype surrounding it. Beyonce’s entire audience isn’t made up of 12 year olds, you know. Not everything’s for the kiddies.

Well I must say that Im not surprised that a man would find this video hot and artistic. If u really think that this video with half naked women rubbing guns on their bodies and shooting them is right then you have just proved my point. Yes you are right no child should be watching this video but people who pray on child and women watch this video and there is no defense or opinion that is going to change the fact that it is trashy and should not even be watched by adults

I have always been a beyonce fan and still am, but this video was the worst video from beyonce that i have seen. She has always said that she is classy and different from others? weres the class in this video?? I always give people a brake for there actions most of the time because everyone is human but this looks trashy and dumb in he lamest terms. the video was really disappointing, if it was just lady gaga It would be different because she has set the tone for doing weird s***,but this was beyonce or “SASHE FIERCE”

What the frikkety-french was THAT?!? There was no central theme, no cohesiveness and certainly no story. Lady Gaga is certainly appearing to sell out (suuuuure you’re an artist, sweetie; have fun with that) and Beyonce is losing her mind.
I just love that this song endorses that funny little habit high school girls have of taping XXX vignettes of themselves to send to their flavor of the month, which then gets passed around the school at first opportunity. Way to hype the practice, Shasha Trashy!!
Is this what passes for edgy these days? I’ve been to all-nude strip clubs where the girls were less trashy than this. Her dad/manager must be sooooo proud.
That was horrible. B is usually a very classy lady and this was just…trashy, to say the least. Not to mention that the outfits were complete garbage or just plan odd. (Not surprised as Lady Gaga is in the video. She pulls off a lot of those odd outfits and well, but B should stick to what she normally wears.)

HELP! I am a helpless little girl! My mom is mad at Beyonce that she was dancing dirty and thinks she should clean up her act for the kids rather than changing the damn channel, or actually teaching me to set my own values rather than looking up to a celebrity! Some one save me from the stupidity. Why am I always an excuse for a grown person to change their actions? It may not be inappropriate for a child like me, but is she directly singing for kids? Since when? When will my parents tell me to be my own woman and not follow Beyonce just because I listen to her? Why do I, a CHILD have to be automatically a victim?
Please, spare me with the kids excuse. Your child will repeat the things this woman do if you LET them. They don’t have to change themselves for your damn kid. I’m far from saying it’s right, but TEACH them that’s not the thing to do rather than complaining.

Lady Gaga is beautiful anyways… but she is reallly beautiful in this video…she doesnt have funky clothes on or too much make up that take from her natural beauty.

I don’t have anything to really say about Beyonce or Lady Gaga. I’ve never really been a fan of their music, but that has nothing to do with my opinion of this video. I’m not a prude. I’m 25 and not old-fashioned nor a parent. I’m not religious so my opinion isn’t based on any particular standard, and frankly I think the video is really disturbing. I am really concerned about where society is headed because we have really blurred the boundaries for what is acceptable, and people just don’t seem to get it anymore. Many parents are concerned about their children watching this trash (thank goodness), but the problem is that many parents nowadays don’t think this junk is inappropriate enough to warrant turning the damn channel. They say if you don’t like it you can always turn it off. How does it really benefit my children if I change the channel when they can go to someone else’s house and watch because other parents are too blind? Young girls are so confused these days. Why do I see a mob of under dressed girls every time I want to go to the movie theater? These kids are only 12 or 13 and wearing tiny, tiny miniskirts and skin tight tank tops. These kids are obviously confused by the media, but the parents don’t get it because they don’t want to and they’re confused too. I’m sick of hearing fools justify what is played on the radio or shown on the television. People need to begin waking up and need to understand that it’s only going to get worse. The world is becoming mindless, and people are increasingly growing numb to whatever nonsense is put before them. When is enough going to be enough?
