Rihanna spoke with VH1 this week about her new album, and shared a moving story about how her 20/20 interview helped to save a fan’s life. In her chat with Janell Snowden, Rihanna reveals that after watching her sit-down with Diane Sawyer, a suicidal fan in an abusive relationship called the domestic violence hotline to get help for her and her daughter.The singer says it was “really inspiring for me that she went from thinking about killing herself to moving on with a new life as a single mother.”
RiRi also discusses her new album, calling it “a personal message” that grew from “all real experiences.” Watch above.
