Twenty years after Paula Abdul and Arsenio Hall cavorted on the set of her “Straight Up” video, the National Enquirer reports that the pair may be dating again. “Arsenio reached out to Paula because he thought she needed a friend to talk to, someone she could relate to,” said their source. “Arsenio knows what it’s like to leave a hit TV show. One phone call led to another, and the next thing you know, they were making a date.” But is it only hit-and-run?
“This could be the perfect situation for the two of them,” says the excited insider. “Paula and Arsenio know each other inside and out.” Oh, really? This just sounds like two old friends catching up to us, but with Paula no longer cuddling Simon Cowell on American Idol, we wouldn’t mind if this fiction turned out to be a natural fact.
