In emotional footage from Rihanna‘s upcoming interview with Diane Sawyer, the singer explains it was her fans that made her realize that reuniting with Chris Brown after he violently assaulted her last February was a mistake. “I stayed. I even went back after he beat me, which was wrong,” she said in a clip aired on Good Morning America today. “It’s completely normal to go back. It’s not right. I learned the hard way, but again, this is what I want people to know. When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result in some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part. I couldn’t be held responsible for going back.”
Rihanna fought tears as she further explained herself. “Even if Chris never hit me again, who is to say that their boyfriend won’t? Who’s to say that they won’t kill these girls? These are young girls and I just didn’t realize how much of an impact I had on these girls’ lives until that happened…[it's] embarrassing that that’s the type of person that I fell in love with. So far in love. So unconditional that I went back. It’s humiliating to say this happened. To accept that? It’s a traumatizing experience.”
The full interview airs Friday night on ABC’s 20/20. MTV will air an exclusive interview with Brown that night at 6.

The only reason why rihanna is coming out so she can promote her new ablum, so people can feel sorry for her !#%!!)%%@%_@))$ Rihanna did somtihng to chris for him to hit her. america only see the sweet side of rihanna, you dont know how she acts behind the sences.
i think the whole situation is sum bull$%^^% its always to sides to every story. she had to play a part in it to , everybody lookin at chris like he’s sum type of monster. im not sayin that its right for a man to put his hands on any female but that still doesnt give a women the right to push a man to his breakin point without gettin anything in return. if this was a regular story and both these individuals were not famous then this would not be chris fault. i think that chris should come out a tell his story so everybody has a better understanding..
Check it out no matter what Rihanna did or didn’t do…It does “NOT” give Chris Brown or any man for that matter the right to put hands a women!
Quite frankly I’m just tire of the whole thing. I just wish people would leave alone and let it go already what;s done is done and there’s no turning back the clock.
It takes two to tangle, I personally don’t think it was just Chris I think it was the both of them pushing each others buttons until it got ugly. It’s never okay to hit someone but at times we miss the signs that say…hey…it’s time to let it go. I wish the best for them, I feel sorry that their personal lives where exposed, that’s the risk you take when you become famous. They are both very talented individuals who deserve another chance so…let’s just keep them in prayer and help them move to the next level in life.
