Remember when that crying guy on The Bachelor proposed to one girl only to dump her at the reunion special so he could hit on the runner-up? Well, Jason Mesnick‘s tears were not in vain: he and said sloppy seconds Molly Malaney are officially engaged. Due to their months-long long-distance relationship, it may wind up the healthiest romance this show has inspired!
Not that it’s run out of weird. Mesnick popped the question in New Zealand, which happens to be where he initially ditched Malaney for future Dancing With The Stars contestant Melissa Rycroft (who got engaged herself in June). The spot was chosen so “Jason [could] do what he should have done in the last time he was here, and ask Molly to marry him,” said a source for People. Aww, that’s romantic…in a catty, surreal kind of way.
