Just another miserable day in the life of Kristen Stewart. The introverted Twilight actress spent a night down in Los Angeles this weekend, and was accosted by photographers as she tried to make her way into LAX to return to Vancouver yesterday. In a recent interview, KStew divulged the ways in which fame has paralyzed her life - “I don’t leave my hotel room — literally, I don’t” - and judging by her expression, we’d guess she’s pretty pissed off that the paparazzi’s constant attention has forced her inside.
At least she’s got some old lady hobbies to keep herself entertained. Stewie strolled into the airport lugging a set of knitting needles, and she’s also been spotted on-set knitting up a storm. Maybe she’s making a new beanie for her beloved Robert Pattinson?
But her grandmotherly interests don’t stop there! A fellow passenger on her flight back to the ‘Couve tweeted about the starlet devouring Mark Twain’s Letters from the Earth on the plane. I don’t get KStew and other celebs who act like this. You’re a movie star! Surely you can’t expect to eat your cake and have it too!! They really ought to just suck it up and go out and live their lives, even if it means being bugged by photogs when you do. Becoming a hermit and then worse, COMPLAINING about it is just silly. Life is too short to take yourself so seriously Kristen.

Knitting is not grandmotherly! It’s an art and a form of meditation. She probably knits to keep sane.

The comments made to accompany these photos are by a behind-the-times moron. Knitting is a very swank hobby, have you been under a rock? Maybe because it takes an intelligent person to do it- you didn’t realize that. Leave that poor girl alone, I feel so bad for her that she can’t go sit on a bench in the sun and knit to her hearts content.

Knitting is actually very popular with the younger crowds now. Have you seen the cool stuff you can make? The patterns available today are crazy! (the skully bag she’s carrying is hand-knit/felted you idiot)

KStew is lucky she has you guys to protect her! I find it adorable that she’s into knitting, and hey - if RPattz shows up in some sort of ridiculous scarf, we can consider that a confirmation that they’re together, right?
