“Jon and Kate Plus 8″ has officially become “Kate Plus 8.” Jon Gosselin will no longer appear on the hit TLC show and according to a show source, his recent behavior is to blame.
“Given Jon’s recent antics, there was no way the show could continue to portray him as a doting dad, not while all this other crap was going on,” a source on the show says.
The show received a ratings spike after the Gosselin’s marriage crumbled, but then only 4.2 million viewers tuned in August 3 and only 1.7 million watched last Monday. [Source: People.com; Photo: Getty Images]

I heard on E! news that Jon is considering whether to continue the divorce proceedings now. I’m guessing that may be because his only source of income has just been ex-ed….no pun intended.
I’ve always had mixed feelings about this couple, because I still believe that Kate is indeed very pushy and can appear to emasculate any man. Jon now, should have made Kate to understand early in the marriage that he will not be treated like a child…but he never said anything and now 4 or 5 years later here we are with the same unresolved marriage issues and now 8 kids are caught up in the middle….I wonder how Maddie and Cara are being treated in school with all this controversy.
I really think it’s time to cancel their show for the sake of the kids, but both of the parents seem to have grown accustomed to their current standard of living and neither wants to go back to any kind of regular 8 to 4 job to support their kids….and realistically…I don’t think now they can find ways to make ends meet without TLC’s help.
A viewer of the show, He never seemed to be into the family thing. He must be going through a selfish phase. It must be nice to walk away and not deal with it anymore.
I feel sorry for the next loser about to get into a marriage with him. Get kids and he walks away. Kate is better off without him.
I have never watched this show but just from looking at the rag mags it seems that these two people that call themselves parents are only in it for fame and fortune. If they had any scruples and valued their children’s feelings they would get off the air and let their kids try to live a normal life. If that is possible with these two money grubbers.
Not that I ever watched that show, but one can tell she’s a )&%#`&*~^@##`_~!_ Guys usually get the back end but not a doubt in my mind she’s a ho too.
I feel that Kate was really pushy and I felt embarass for Jon when she talks to him the way she does. I dont agree that cheating on her was the answer; he should have talked it out because they have 8 kids. What about the women that accepts him, I mean do they even realize what they are doing or have done? I mean HELLOOOO Loser girlfrens.. Your wrecking a family with 8 kids..
I think Jon is a child himself. Neither one of them wanted 8 kids. Dude he’s a pig. And going through a midlife crisis. America needs to dump him forever.
i think the devorce would and will be alot smoother if everyone would just leeve them alone isnt it hard enough to get seperated without all the paparazzi then the have 8 kids the adverage family ahas 2 to 4. i just know if i was getting a devorce i wouldnt want anyone watching every step i took i would want to be able to take my kids out. with out gettting my pic taken.
