Amidst the shocking moments and outlandish performances at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards was some glitzy and glamorous fashion. Metallic frocks dominated the arrivals, with Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Leighton Meester rockin’ silver and gold. Keri Hilson looked impossibly bangin’ in a satin jumpsuit and Beyonce flaunted her curves in a ruffly scarlet number. Before I go on, let me say I am extremely biased.
That being said, where is Lady GaGa? Her red carpet look was my favorite of the night. The hat, the dress, the neck brace, the “Phantom of the Opera” mask… it was so deliciously GaGa. That bird’s nest she was wearing at the end of the show? Not so much.
In fact, I’d dare to say that the Best New Artist had both the best AND worst looks of the night. And that’s taking Perez Hilton’s disaster into account.

Lady GaGa was great last night ,shes diffrent from everyone else and does her thing..dressing diffrent in diffrent styles are way better then wearing the same thing as the person sitting next to ya..what is up with that?

i think that taylor swift wore a very appropriate dress at the vma’s. i believe that this one of the many gorgeous dresses i have seen on one of the most kind artist of the century.
as an asian for cassie also, i think the style is very nice but the hair is fairly interesting

I am a die-hard Beyonce fan, she looked cute but I would not have put that on a “Best Dressed” list. I agree with a few other posters and say this list was actually pretty trashy. I thought Kristin Cavallari was dressed appropriately but VS model’s Alessandra Ambrosio was flawless from head to toe, Taylor also looked very red carpet-ish!
