Michael Jackson’s Secret Notes

A series of notes scribbled by Michael Jackson and stuck to his bathroom mirror have been uncovered. The News of the World claims to have obtained the Post-its and sheets of paper kept in his bathroom as the late superstar readied himself for his comeback shows at London’s O2 Arena. A couple are ordinary scribbles - one saying “Call Temperton” - a reference to his onetime music co-writer Rod Temperton - and the other reading “Do We Are the World in show” - assumed to be a reminder to include the track in his repertoire.
The other two notes appear more revealing, with one reading “I am so glad that I am a magnet for miracles.” This is assumed to be a reference to the term used by recovering alcoholics in self-help programs, and could be related to Jackson’s dependency on prescription drugs and his desire to get off them. The other says, “Love, no violence ever. Remember a beautiful future promise of tomorrow,” which feels just too poignant now. [Photo: Getty Images]
