VSWAY, no this isn’t a case of simply choosing the wrong time and place to speak your mind. He went up on stage were he wasn’t invited, or supposed to be, forcibly took away Taylor’s mic, and also her moment, and went on a short, drunken rant. And “what people at home were thinking” is debatable, but you don’t interrupt an acceptance speech by barging onto a stage and stealing someone’s moment like that. That isn’t “keepin it real”, it’s rude, obnoxious, and shows the kind of person you are if you do that, or vocally support it, for that matter.

This isn’t about who he thought or even who you people giving him a pass thought should have won. There is a time and a place for everything. The longer we as AfricanAmericans, blacks or whatever is the personal choice continue to feed into the stereotypes of this type of behavior, the lack of respect for others and so on….we will continue to be lumped into the same boat despite that fact that we are not all ignorant, we are not all uneducated and we are not all insensitive to others. Shame on Kanye for being exactly what is expected of us.
