Tila Tequila is in the hospital after reportedly being attacked by her NFL boyfriend. The Shot At Love star, real name Tila Nguyen, made a 911 call in the early hours of Sunday morning, after an incident with her San Diego Chargers boyfriend Shawne Merriman. “Nguyen told deputies she had been choked and physically restrained by Merriman when she attempted to leave his residence,” it’s reported.
When the police arrived at the scene, Tila signed a citizen’s arrest warrant, which charged him with battery and false imprisonment. Before the incident, the couple had been enjoying an evening at Stingaree nightclub in San Diego, without any sign of problems, according to TMZ.

wow this is all wierd. Every time she goes to find love stuff happend to her.
So she can never find love. So i hope that she is ok. That is good that he is in jail.
so if it is true then he needs to be far away from her.

Brittany, I am saying this with all respect. I don’t think the “meaning” we take from this should be suggesting some superstitious thing going on with Tila and her love life. That is inadvertantly blaming the victim. As many times as she has gone for love and something weird happens, take that number and multiply it by like 5,000 and that is how many times you have domestic violent !~`+`%&%~^(_^&* aults on women by professional sports players. It is a very scary trend and my numbers are probably low.
I pray Tila presses charges and stands her ground. Don’t let him get away with it.

LOL the girl responses are so dumb to this. They just take her side without a thought. I bet she WAS trying to drink and drive and he was doing the right thing. Almost same thing happened to me and my gf at the time freaked out on me at first too. If anything she prob hurt him like my ex did to me. Women blind themselves to logic with stuff like this. That’s the only truly sad thing about this story aside from a good man sitting in jail.

This story was not investigated well. She was drunk and had no injuries. He was already released from jail. Get the facts straight before you post stories.

should realize that according to TMZ
she went to the club with a driver that night

well at least the da saw the situation for what it was
i dont know the guy but he should be able to do better than her anyway
personally i think the hospital thing and citizens arrest paper were just done to get more
attention from the media
every time ive seen her she acts about half a wing nut short of a full load anyway
who knows what was going on when this happened she coulda been beatin on him
and he grabbed her arms to stop it
seems alot of bloggers here automatically $#^@&)__$%+#`~^ ume the guy is guilty until proven innocent
but the da wont be filing any charges.
i wouldnt be surprised if a civil suit doesnt follow in the near future.
