Fashion designer Anand Jon, who had appeared on “America’s Next Top Model” and designed clothes for Paris Hilton and Mary J. Blige, has been sentenced to 59 years to life in prison for sexually assaulting seven young women and girls he enticed with the promise of modeling jobs.
Anand acted as his own attorney and asked for a new trial because of juror and prosecutorial misconduct. Judge David Wesley denied his request.
His victims looked on and wept from the jury box. Several victims spoke before the sentencing including one who said, “I was 14. You took my adolescence, my trust, my dream, and completely manipulated them for your sexual desires.” [Source: LA Times; Photo: Splash News Online]

You go girls. Anyone who preys on underage children of either sex deserves to go to prison for a very long time! Teenagers are especially vulnerable when their lifetime dream is dangled before their eyes. Who wouldn’t jump at the chance to enter the glamorous world of modeling, not to mention the money that could be made. These predators count on the naivete and spontaneaty of teens, and sadly young adults also.
Should have shot the guy, on the spot.
Thank god he’s in jail… I feel horrible for the trauma he caused to them…

Wow, you would look at someone like this physically and think naaaahhh.. And you would think being blessed with such talent, fame, fortune and friends that he would have more sense and appreciation for what God gave him!!
What a shame and a waste! Additionally, I hope those victims sue his `(&)+&@!^^&&_$* for whatever they can get!!
Acted as his OWN attorney?? Oh what an ego he has!!! I bet he walked around that courtroom like Perry Mason thinking he had it in the bag. Just awful.

I’m so glad these girls spoke up and told there story, because there are so many girls period getting mislead by men in the enterainment world making promises to them and they never get heard of after they give up their goods or after being forced to do something they didn’t want to do. It’s a shame he couldn’t find a women for himself and stay with in his age limit the sorry #^^+!)&+_*%&)^(^^_) I hate men like that I hope he melts in prison and learn what it feels like to be rapped if his booty was virgin it wont be anymore.
