Douglas’ Girlfriend Busted For Bringing Him Drugs

Just a week after Cameron Douglas was busted for drug-trafficking, his girlfriend was also arrested for trying to pass him drugs. Kelly Sott was visiting Douglas at the Manhattan courthouse where his hearing was taking place and attempted to pass him an electric toothbrush that was filled with seven grams of heroin. Investigators opened the battery compartment to find the drug hidden inside. If we may, how does that not look suspicious? “Honey, I worry about your teeth, so I brought you this electric toothbrush. You just had to have it. At the courthouse.” This would be a more effective anti-drug PSA than the stoners who run over a kid on his bike and laugh about it, we think.

Law enforcement says that Douglas called Sott and asked her to bring some items to the courthouse and Sott told the officers that, “she was not aware of the contents of the toothbrush that she delivered.” If that’s the case, it just makes things a whole lot worse for Douglas, who already faces a mandatory 10-year minimum sentence for his crimes.
