Report: Victoria Beckham To Replace Paula Abdul

Dry your tears, people. With lightning speed, Paula Abdul is said to have been replaced on American Idol by … drum roll … Victoria Beckham! Huh? According to the British tabs, the world-class singer (ahem) is going to take up the vacant judge’s seat for a few upcoming episodes.

“Victoria is hugely flattered as this is one of the highest profile gigs in America…Network bosses would love to give her the job full-time and it looks like it’s there for her if she wants it,” reports the Mirror.

How will this work? Maybe Victoria’s famous “gay man“ trapped inside of her will come out and deliver some waspish humor. Maybe she’ll announce that she’ll debut her smile if someone sings well enough? You gotta have a gimmick, and we’re not sure being super super thin is enough. [Photo: Splash News Online]

no way, no way. This woman has no talent/ She even fessed up to not even really singing with the spice girls. Her only real claim to fame now is her hot &#`^$)%#$$)`_!( husband david. American Idol is crazy, if they think there ratings are slipping now wait till the new season starts and paula is not there. American Idol better dish out the cash. Paula should be making what simon makes, no question. They are one of the reasons i tune in every tuesday and wednesday from january to may.

no way. if its not paula then atleast get someone better, victoria beckham? i’d rather see paula back, keep it at 3 judges if anything. we’d like that even better!

Why is Ms.Personality replacing Paula? At least get someone with more talent and someone that doesn’t look like Kate Gosselin. They should also get rid of Kara or what ever her name is. Keep Simon, keep Randy for a little longer because frankly he is a annoying walking stereotype and get someone with a personality to replace Paula.
