The dates left vacant by Michael Jackson‘s untimely death could be filled by another megastar who’s attempting a comeback — Whitney Houston. The rehabbed diva (plus British pop superstar Robbie Williams) are being lined up as the names to take over the dates next January, February and March which are now lying empty. “Whitney Houston has been on our wish-list for a while – she has the voice and the hits to sell the arena out several times over,” a source says. And, you know, maybe she’ll even sing at her concerts, Britney Spears. Bonus! [Photo: WENN]

WHITNEY LOOKS NICE.
WHITNEY LOOKS NICE AND PRETTY.
I don’t think she can stay sober long enough to handle it. I wish her luck.
whitney is the person
I’ve been a Whitney fan for decades! I;m waiting for her come back! I know she can do it, and she’ll be great! Go Whitney!
With God all things are possible!! So Whitney is back!! Once she holds on & rely on The Lord’s strenght, she will make it! Welcome back Whitney!!! Big fan!
FUNNY HOW AEG PICKS THE ADDICTS PER THEIR INSURANCE TRICKY CLAUSE….THAT ONLY COVERS THEM IF YOU OVERDOSE!!!!! WATCH IT WITNEY, THEY MAY BE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER BIG PAYDAY!!!!!!!!
Ever since she got hooked on crack, her face has just looked clueless, not even close to the same sober person who made the movie “bodyguard”. It’s sad really.
FORGET WHITNEY ! DIANA ROSS IS WHO SHOULD TAKE THOSE CONCERT DATES SHE OF ALL ,WAS MICHAEL’ CHOICE (AFTER HIS MOM) TO TAKE CARE OF HIS KIDS , DIANA IS A MUCH BIGGER STAR THAN WHITNEY ALL MY FRIENDS WENT TO HER CONCERT ( WHITNEY’S) IN HER HEY DAY AND SAID LACK LUSTER PERFORMANCE ,BORING , NO SHOWMANSHIP, NOT ENJOYABLE, TOO SWEATY LET THE REAL DIVA DIANA DO IT PLEASE !
From one sad situation to another. And, oh, by the way, where IS Ms. Missing-In-Action Diana Ross? I thought they were close.
Whitney ‘used a ton’ (get it?)
on tour, now thats funny!
Good Luck Brittania!
good luck in this crule world
Why can’t people just stand back and let Whitney show herself. Don’t be so damn critical.
Give the girl a chance. She is very pretty and has had a great career who are we to say that she can’t capture that again. I love her singing and I am an older woman but her voice, especially when she sang the Star Spangled Banner at the opening of a ball game……damn, that was the best I ever heard……….Whitney don’t let these self appointed critics cut you down. What do they know. Most of them don’t get up before noon and don’t have two nickels to rub together…….You go girl, strut your stuff, I know you can do it………I will pray for you to be strong and determined……..God Bless You and your family and especially that little girl…………
First of all, NO ONE can ” replace” Michael jackson. When he died, there was/is a huge hole in the music industry and no one can fill his shoes, even more, no one can DANCE in his shoes.
I had read early on that the concert promoters were trying/thinking of getting ABBA to fill those dates. Now THAT is a group that would easily sell out the venues.
Whitney is extremely talented and she could have a good concert, but people have seen Whitney in the past, Michael Jackson was going to make this is LAST time touring and that was the que that helped sell out the venues. ABBA has NOT performed in decades and they definately woud have filled the venues easily, I don’t think that Whitney could draw a crowd like Michael Jackson could or even ABBA could.
I think since the loss of Michael, those concert dates won’t be as full as they were. I am sure many people got a refund for their tickets, and maybe even some people kept their tickets to see whoever will be performing.
It just bears mentioning again, no one can fill Michaels shoes so those venues will most likely not be a full house every night of the concerts, no matter who they concert promoters get to perform since Michael had passed away.
Whitney does look nice, but her face looks like it is pulled too tight…too much botox maybe?
What a comeback, Whitney. Very thoughtful for Michael Jackson.
I have been a friend ,a fan and she is going to be great.Sometimes in life your set back will be your greatest comeback.God loves her and so do i
MICHAEL’S NAME IS NOT “JACKO”. HE WAS A GENIUS. HE DIDN’T APPRECIATE BEING CALLED “JACKO” WHEN HE WAS LIVING. SINCE IT’S PROPER TO SPEAK WELL OF THE DEAD, I WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU WOULD REFER TO HIM AS MICHAEL JACKSON OR “THE KING”. HIS DEATH BROKE THE HEART OF THE ENTIRE WORLD. THERE’S BEEN NO SADDER DAY SINCE THE DEATH OF JESUS CHRIST.
SAY NICE THINGS TO HELP MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE.
WHITNEY HOUSTON is OLD and played out…she is deff. not anything great like
JANET JACKSON or MARIAH CAREY!!!!
I AGREE WITH YOU CHERYL WRIGHT 100%.
She ‘s starting to look alike like Celine Dione. Please don’t get with Psychic network, Whitney.
I agree with you,hey don’t I know you Cheryl? Did you go to Columbia High School?
Michael’s last name is Jackson not Jacko. Please show some respect!
No shiz! Britney lip syncs her whole concerts!
I love Whitney and can’t wait for her comeback. She’s got so much talent there’s no way she could fail
Its good to see Whitney Houston making music again, she has always been a favorite of mine since child hood.
Whitney looks great! i loved the new single, i wish her well she deserves it.The second time around will be better GOOD LUCK WHITNEY.
I think whitney u look beatiful. may good bless u and fam…..
It’s ridiculous to judge Whitney or anyone by age. Age is irrelevant. It’s talent that counts. Look at Patti LaBelle, Barbra Streisand, Tina Turner. You may not like their music but their talent can’t be denied.
In 2007, Streisand tickets sold in the UK for GB100.00 and GB1,500.00 Even at these prices she sold out. Streisand is 67.
LaBelle is 65, and Turner will be 70 this year. Turner’s current tour has become one of the highest selling ticketed shows of 2008-2009 according to Billboard Magazine, and LaBelle brings down the house wherever she performs.
Whitney is in her very early 50′s. Had her voice not been damaged and had she not lost control of her life, she would be at the top of her career. Jazz and opera singers don’t peek until their 50′s. Judging from other talented women, Whitney has a long career ahead of her if she can manage to impress people again.
Models are appropriately judged by how they look. Those who judge vocalists/musicians this way only show their shallowness and ignorance.
I think maybe they should put many people do it and do an honor to him too.
I think Withney Houston is a great voice and had a lot of power. I think she has great talent but was a really bad example. I hope she is really sober and really does come back. It is sad to see beautiful talnet go to waste
I Love Whitney she beautiful and she’s back i think she’ll be great to take on the empty spot.
She a person and people make mistakes and she done fixed them. It time for her comeback and now would be the time for her. Once she back in the building and the fans go wild i think she stay clean and sober. So stop with the negetive and give her a chance.
You go girl! I was a fan of your aunt (Dionne Warwick) and a fan of yours, even when you were down. I knew you would be back. Your a gift from God. Not to offend you, but did you have plastic surgery? Because the older you get you favor your aunt more than your mother.
I forgot to mention I’m 59years old and grew up listening to Dionne, and then you. I love the strength of your voice. So see you still have a huge fan base out here. When you go on tour in the United States, I defintely plan to attend.
She may have had some bad times….we all have, just not in the tabloids. Give her a break, I would give both my arms and legs to have a voice ike hers.
I love Whitney! I really hope she can stay on the straight, if not it would just be another wasted talent. Her voice gives me goose bumps.
I believe Beyonce has a better shot at making those dates good, not to take anything away from Whitney, but she had ger glory, I think more than once.
a crackhead taking all dates from a dead junkie…makes sense to me!
