We paid a visit to the Naked Cowboy recently, to get the scoop on his mayoral campaign. Yep, that’s right, the dude who sings in his underwear in Times Square for a living – and makes a killing doing so – is making a play for the most important job in the Big Apple.
Naked – or Robert Burck, as he was once known – claims that he is perfect for the position because, “no one knows how to do more with less than yours truly.” And while this may just be a publicity ploy, we kinda like some of his ideas. He wants to offer micro-loans to small businesses, supports (and can perform) gay marriage, and hopes to implement something called Naked Fridays (use your imagination on that one).
