Lady Gaga Trying Way Too Hard To Be Different
Lady Gaga better watch out, because we have a feeling Miss Piggy is gonna kick her ass. The singer showed up to an interview in Germany dressed like Jim Henson’s acid trip - in a coat (and tiny hat) made of Kermit the Frog heads. Of course, Gaga has a very good excuse for her ridiculous getup.
“My friends and I in New York…we believe in vanity,” she said. “I dress this way all the time because it inspires my life. I dress this way because my whole life is art and my whole life is performance.”
Just keep telling yourself that, Gaga. PETA may not hate your coat, but every American who grew up on The Muppet Show sure does. Watch the interview below the jump.

I don’t see what the big deal is, she is an artist and like she stated, here whole life is a performance. I applaude her for being so creative and bucking the system. Like my grandmother used to say to each his own. I wish everyone would be 1/10th as creative as Lady GaGa.

how cud u love someone as raw as an egg. singin about disco stiks and makin almost nude videos.i dont hate her but deceit is deceit, shes just pushin it too hard to get the fame.and wat she callz creativity is not creativity, its just looks nice wit wat she says and does on screen, i bet she cant sing a little more polite song or video and sell, it will all come 2 an end …. and as for vanity, only both of us no about that

Okay first of all. She wore it as a commentary to wearing furs. If you’re smart you’ll get it, I’m not going to explain it. Fashion/Art can be of one, with statements like she was trying to make it’s not always pretty. We have enough pretty frilly girls to look at I don’t see why having one femme fatale once in awhile hurts. I think she’s amazing!
