Poor Robert Pattinson, always scrutinized under the watchful eye of the media. Whether it’s rumors that he knocked up Kristen Stewart or that he’s dating Emilie de Ravin or just that he has wicked B.O., the guy can’t catch a break. The latest tale of What’s Robert Doing Now? involves a dinner in Greenwich Village, where he and some friends ate and drank all night at Il Cantinori and even had their prosecco comped, and only left a $50 tip for their waiter.
Look, we get that sometimes these things happen, but it still pains us to hear that the most famous vampire in the world couldn’t even muster up a 15% tip. Meh, big deal. Shawn Michaels the famous wrestler came to my job once not too long ago with his wife and kids and the wife left me 10 dollars….aside from wanting to keep a low profile, he was pretty nice though for the most part.
i would have gladly taken a 50 dollar tip though. At lewast when Marion Barber of the Cowboys came in he had the decency to pre pay the tip at the door for him and his family.
