While this rumor is apparently somewhat old, it was the first we’ve ever heard of Michael Jackson having a secret biological son. The kid in question is Omer Bhatti, who’s in his early twenties and hails from Norway. Omer has been close with the pop star since the mid-90s, when he began touring with the singer and living on and off at Neverland Ranch. While Jackson supposedly told people that Bhatti is his son (the result of a one-night-stand with a Norwegian fan), others claim they met after he wowed M.J. with an on-point impression of the singer as a kid. “I’m not surprised Michael says he’s the father,” a source told Fox News in 2004. “It’s a fantasy. But these people did not exist in Michael’s life before 1996.”
Omer is allegedly convinced that he is Jackson’s son and is desperate for a DNA test to prove it. He was spotted yesterday by photographers shopping for groceries before heading over to the Jackson family home, where Michael’s three kids currently reside. Going to visit his siblings, perhaps?

If this was Michael’s son, why wouldn’t he have provided for him in the will like he did for his other kids? Anyone with a 400+ million dollar estate would leave something to each of their kids instead of deliberately leaving out a child that they had an ongoing relationship with. Also, Michael always had kids hanging around him and staying with him so it is entirely likely that he taught Omer to dance and probably bought him some clothing that was the same style as MJ wore. When children/young adults look up to someone they try to emulate that person so that is probably why Omer has taken some of MJs style and characteristics. Any fan of MJs that was alive in the 1980′s should remember that Corey Feldman used to dress like MJ and tried to emulate MJ as well and they were definitely not related. Of course the Jackson family is going to treat Omer as family since he was such a large part of Michael’s life, regardless of biological parentage. Plus, I’m sure Omer has been on ongoing fixture in the Jackson children’s lives as well and any well meaning guardian would want him to remain close to them even though he’s not MJ’s son. I’m $$`~+@_(&*+&+@# uming that the reason the Jackson family isn’t paying for a DNA test is that they would then be obligated to pay for tests for any other parental claims that may arise later (and there will be some). Plus, I would think Michael would have informed his family exactly who all of his known children were.
Yes, Omer when he was 11 looked like Blanket. There is some story here.
If this is Michael’s son then he probably didnt want to break the family up that was raising him since birth. I believe he actually was caring for him all this time if it was true. Thats probably why he had the other kids.
I do not believe this is Michael Jackson’s son. And I agree with Stephanie that Michael would hae provided for this youngman in his will. Unless he did provide for him outside of the will and wanted to spare this youngman any harassment and loss of privacy by the media since the youngman did not live with him and he could not protect him as he did with blanket.
Also, if this was Michaels son a DNA test would have been secretly done years ago. This is just another media feeding frenzy… I wish the media would find other more important things to talk about Damn….. WHO CARES anyway if this is michaels son? – Oh, let me see… hum… Ok, so he is declared Michaels son, then you have all sorts of kids whom are FOLLOWERS all of a sudden wanting to be his best friend, and adults who bow down to the smell of money wanting to shake his snotty hands, and show their teeth as wide as possible in his face acting like he was GOD. oh, and let’s not forget the promoters who can smell money 10 miles away now making him offers and using him like they did Michael, and the shallow media wanting interviews for ratings, and on and on…. so I guess I just answered my own question about WHO CARES…. Compared to the real Michael, he looks nothing like him. Compared to the plastic-surgeried Michael, he looks somewhat like him, but that, obviously, is meaningless. Michael expressed his desire to be a father many times. If Omer was his son, he would have proclaimed it loud and clear. I don’t think it’s his son.
He has a number of features that are very similar to Michael’s, especially the eyes, shape of his face and lips. Might be. Hope so! Would be nice to know that there is a little bit more of Michael Jackson still with us.

Also he does have the features……..actually alot. And i think ppl are just thrown off by obees complexion which doesnt look necessarily african american, but (duh!) that would be because he is mixed. If you look at all of micheals brothers children (that are all practicly mixed) you can see that obee does appear to fit in!! They all have that pretty beautiful boy look!
Think people…do you really think the Michael and his family would keep this kid around if they did not suspect he may be his(MJ’s) true biological son. The kid is mixed, half white/half black that is obvious, its difficult to determine what genes are stronger. Also there are family xmas videos with Omar receiving gifts, presents and he is constantly around the family. Have you folks every been to Neverland, or even see it?? Omar’s been there, lives there, is still around the Jackson family, He was also in the same garb as all the Jackson family uduring the Michael Jackson funeral, I thought he was one of the Jackson’s relatives, but not Michaels! “passing for white?”. Some mixed kids take on their white parents characteristics. Just because MJ’s kids look white do not mean they are not his–sheesh.

Unfortunatelly the answer is no. The eyes are similar and some darker skin colour but that’s about it. Omer should have curly hair which he doesn’t have and wider nose. I guess Omer is just a bit confused now and maybe his mom wants some attention to his son. It would be nice if MJ had a biological son, but I’m afraid this one isn’t the one. This is just newspapers propaganda, a story which will sell.

Nope, that boy looks nothing like MJ in this picture. We have to remember that his mother is white and her husband is `~##++~%&`^`#!%& stani. So any mix characteristics he may show could be from his `~##++~%&`^`#!%& stani father not MJ. I’ve been a long time fan of MJ since he was with the J-five, and I see nothing in that picture that says this boy could be MJ’s son. However, he did look a lot like Blanket when he was Blanket’s age. That’s the mystery to me, how is it that this boy looks so much like Blanket.

Children who come of mixed or same race sometimes come out not looking like either parent… such as myself & my son. People used to call these children “blacksheep”. The children that was too light skinned or too dark skinned.

I think that the reason mj would not have proclaimed this boy to be his son for the fear of his life as a kid being turned upside down in the public, and wanted him to enjoy his life as a kid, something he himself never had. you can bet he has been provied for secretly. this would be something mj would do to protect this boy. the jackson family are not stupid people they wouldnt have taken him in so freely if there wasnt some truth to it.I for one think it would be great if he is mjs son . Even if Omer is Michaels’ son, at least Michael stepped up to the plate and “manned up” which is more than what I can say considering that some “adults” today wouldn’t have anything to do with children and would leave them/their families behind which appalls me.

okay people you all need to relax ,it isn;t bad enough that michael is gone; and noone will ever ever be what he was the most talented individial ever in the music feild it would be in americas best interest if this was his child he might be able to allow all of us to still have a peice of him. he is talented and shows alot of michael’s charestistics so woulnd;t if be nice if some of his legesy still lived on, i hope for the best, because to never see him again is a very sad thing for the whole world
