Huge Michael Jackson Tribute Concert Planned

Fans who missed the chance to see their idol’s last ever concerts, rejoice! Michael Jackson’s concert will be coming to the O2 arena in London. A huge tribute concert to the late star is planned to take place on his birthday next month, as well as other Jackson-inspired events that use the material from his long-awaited comeback tour This Is It.
“We are determined that the world sees the show that would have taken place at The O2 Arena. It was Michael’s last creative vision. I’m not kidding. It would have been spectacular. This show would have reminded everyone what a truly great artist he was. We’ve got the sets, the costumes — everything. The world has got to see this,” says Randy Phillips of AEG.
Details aren’t available at the moment, but the proposed concert on 29 August — what would have been Michael’s 51st birthday — would surely be another fantastic opportunity for fans to pay homage to the passed icon. [Photo: Getty Images Publicity]
