Probably the most moving moment of Michael Jackson‘s spectacular memorial service was the most simple one. Paris Jackson, Michael’s daughter, took to the stage in an impromptu gesture towards the end of the ceremony to pay her respects to her dad. Supported by aunt Janet Jackson, and in floods of tears, young Paris kept her words brief and heartfelt.
“I just want to say that ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just want to say that I love him so much,” she said.
From never leaving the house without a mask attached to her face to speaking on live television being broadcast globally, it was a raw moment that brought a collective pang of sadness to people around the world. It is a heartbreaking life experience that MJ’s family, especially his young children have to go through. I am proud of Paris for reminding the world that he was human like the rest of us and deserved more than what he got. Many sought to break his spirit with little or no regards to him, his family, and most importantly his children. As Marlon Jackson suggested, hopefully the redicule will now come to an end. To MJ’s family and children-lean on each other. Seek the LORD and you will find a measure of comfort. Remember the man YOU ALL knew and love. Not the one evil doers tried to portray. No one knew him better than you did. Even I a complete stranger saw his good heart. My faith in him never waivered. Stay strong and keep the faith.

Michael was the greatest, Yes we all know. But mainly he was a giver of Love. He was heavenly sent and to heaven he returned. The media tried to discourage him and break him. But when you are highly favored by the Almighty, no man can touch you. God called him home to give him peace and rest. His job here was done. He brought the world together through his music. There are millions of words for Michael Jackson some of those are amazing, mind-blowing,king of pop,etc. He had amazing talent and made hit songs one after another. He was an amazing icon, a great dad, genius,and music legend. He reached out to others to help them or even care for them. People need to learn to not believe the tabloids even if it is true, we don’t know that. Even though many of us didn’t know him personally he seemed to connect with anyone watching his concert, music vid,intervoew, etc. My prayers go out to the fam. I met Michael Jackson when I was 10 yrs old. He was 20 just before his Thriller album. I was as big of a fan then as I am now and have cried so much over this unnecessary loss. He was an amazingly sweet, and down to earth person and a talent that will never be duplicated. I will miss you Michael!
Michael Jackson’s death was so unexpected and I think that’s why it’s been so hard for anyone to accept that a wonderful treasure is now forever gone. We were blessed to have an angel like him on this Earth for as long as we did. Thank you Michael for your generous and memorable contributions to the human race (my 3 yr old is already trying to moonwalk!). Thank you for having such a big heart and for being a shining example of what it means to turn the other cheek. No matter how hard people may have tried, they never broke your spirit and I really admired that about you. To his children (if they ever read this) I would just like to say that despite the negative remarks people may make, what matters more than anything is what you remember him for. Anyone with a heart can see what an innocent and loving person he really was. I will NEVER forget the one, the only…Michael Jackson. He will always be imitated, but never duplicated. People are always going to think whatever they want, but I choose to remember Michael Jackson as the gentle soul with a big heart that I know deep down he was. This world can be so cruel and I can only hope he is in a better place now. He will forever be remembered and sorely missed. He truly is one of kind and could never be replaced. After i watched the michael jackson memorial on VH1 last nite,
i jammed on my guitar for a bit, & then went to bed, sometime in the early morning,
i was dreaming i was in chicago on a street corner with michael jakson standing
next to me, and i was telling him that it was the coolist thing to have eddie van halen
play on his first album, then he said i have something for you, & we walked around the
corn & there was a childhood girl friend of mine & she throw her arms around me
and kissed me, then he said tell everyone at the staple center thanks for doing that for me.

Michael Jackson has always been my hero. I do not care about what he was as a person. All I know is that I adored him as an artist. No one can equal his art. It is sad to see him go. If ever there comes another Michael Jackson, certainly that will not be in this lifetime.
