Let us not dwell on the vicious public scrutiny of such a complicated and talented man. Everything he experienced, rejoiced in and endured made him the unforgettable musician that he IS. He cannot be duplicated because he is an original. When you experience his videos and hear his music you cannot deny his talent and ability to entertain, transcend generations and cultures and to truly be joyful. Thank you Michael for letting us into your world.

I’m a year younger than Michael and grew up with posters of him from the teen magazines all over my bedroom helping me (or so I thought at the time) to be able to dream of him and quite often it worked. They were wonderful dreams, so wonderful I was mad when I woke up and tried my best to go back to sleep and hopefully finish the dream…..God, thank you for him and please watch over his beautiful children and bring comfort to them and the rest of the family.

I remember riding in my aunts car and her having me sing songs by Michael Jackson from his earlier days with the Jackson five. I instantly fell in love with his singing. I am glad that the world has come together to celebrate his life and his talent. It is hard to grieve the loss of a loved one. But it is especially to hard to share your last moments with you loved one with the public. I want to thank the Jackson family for sharing this time with us. My prayers are with his family. May he rest in peace.

  • Sheri says:

MJ – he was a blessing from God that connected the entire planet through his pure loving heart that was expressed not only through his incredibly gifted singing and performing abilities, but through his lifelong heartfelt global humanitarian efforts. He touched my heart and soul in a deep way. I’ll always treasure the good fortune I had in 1984 to attend the Jackson’s Victory Tour in Jacksonville, FL – it was an experience of a lifetime! Today’s Memorial Service was truly the most beautiful, heartfelt and moving Memorial Services I’ve ever watched. My thoughts and prayers are with Michael’s beautiful children and his entire family. Thank you for the great memories Michael – you were a very special human being that touched the world. May your true legacy of reaching out to everyone to attempt to heal the world, truly come more to pass within the hearts and souls of mankind. May we all take a look at the Man or Woman in the Mirror and “make that change”. God rest your soul Michael!

  • Shawntal says:

Michael Jackon will be missed forever. Not matter what hardships he had to get through or the fights he had to battle, he will be remembered by his music and his dancing. He has inspired so many modern day artists from Usher to Omarion. He will be missed dearly and his legacy will live on forever and ever and ever.

  • Gary L Atkinson says:

Enjoy the music aside from his personal life.Truly gifted. Let’s hear lives of reporters.U know the one about people that live in glass houses.

  • Gary L Atkinson says:

One song, rarely played ” LOOK IN THE MIRROR” (my favorite) says it all.

  • Sally says:

I guess the good Lord had to take you away, from all the suffering your critics put you through. They never took the time to understand you and love you. They never realised how caring you were or all the concerns you had for the earth. You alone cannot do it. We all have to make the change to create a better world. Those in a position to make the changes do nothing, but only hate and critise you. I hope they are happy now. Anyway that is going to be on their conscience until their time comes and they have to answer to the almight one. I just wish I had the opportunity to meet you in person, because I love u, I love u ,I love you so much, and I could never stop loving you.I grew up with your music and your music still sounding soooooooo good. IMAGINE IF YOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO REALLY COME BACK, YOU REALLY WOULD HAVE ROCK THIS WORLD AGAIN FOR A SECOND TIME. WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GO SO SOON?— I GUESS IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE. BUT I KNOW YOUR MUSIC WILL LIVE ON FOREVER AND FOREVER AND FOREVER. FURURE GENERATIONS ARE GOING TO HEAR YOUR NAME AND SEE YOUR VIDEOS AND LEARN OF THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER THAT EVER LIVE ON THIS EARTH–MICHAEL JACKSON 1958-2009. PARISH, PRINCE AND BUBBLES YOU HAVE A LOT TO BE PROUD OFF. AND YOU ALL IN TURN HAVE TO DO THE SAME MAKE MICHAEL PROUD OF YOUR’LL, BECAUSE ALL HE EVER WANTED WAS TO BE A DADDY.

    REST IN PEACE
WE LOVE YOU, MY 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER ANGELIA AND MYSELF
