Michael i will never forget as a child at the age of 3 sitting in front of the television wathing your videos (Thriller, Beat It, Billie Jean) just MESMORIZED by your great talent. I always tried imitating your moves but no one can move the way you did. I can speak for everyone when i say that you are the most talented Entertainer that will ever LIVE. There is only one MICHAEL JACKSON and no one can ever live up to your talent. I will forever remember you as THRILLER.
They broke the mold when they made Michael Jackson!!! So Amazing that he was able to trascend so many barriers, and at the same time demonstrate to the world what it truly means to be a Human being. Its too bad we never got to see more of this side of Michael.
We have lost a truly genuine human being, and for that my heart weeps. Never forget!!
RIP M.J.
I wish to say I feel for the Family I lost a brother 15 yrs ago , I still feel the pain of that because just like michael my brother Paul left us in a flash too. All my love to His children I feel the pain and sorrow.
You know it has been a very sad couple on days for me ever since that I heard my favorite pop-star passed away Michael was the king of pop and no one is better the michael jackson you know I sat in my room tonight and watched the memorial service at the staples center in LA and I had a mixture of emotions I was happy to see all the people who felt and still do feel the way I do about Michael. But I was also sad and heart broken because me the Jackson Family and the rest of Michael’s Fan’s lost someone we truely cared for and loved. I am 21 years old and I spent my whole life listening to michael Jackson some of my favorite songs was thriller, Beat it, Scream which he did with janet, ABC which he did with his brothers during the mo-town days and the sound he did for the movie Free Wiley
I remember when the Thriller album was released, my cousin and I would get our parents and brothers and sisters in the living room to watch us put on our own little “Zombie Dance”.
These last days I have begun to appreciate the music all over again and realized I had forgotten how much I loved and admired Michael Jackson. It all seems new to me again as I am now seeing it through the eyes of my 8 year old son who is enjoying watching these magnificent videos for the first time.
I believe that he has been judged so harshly by people who did not know him and only wanted to believe the worst.
Michael Jackson will never be forgotten in the hearts and minds of his family, friends, or fans.
God Bless You Michael and God Bless your family, especially your children
Michael Jackson was like a fmaily member. I remember as a girl in Akron, Ohio, pestering Mom until she took us the record store and bought the latest Jackson 5 release. If she didn’t take us, she’d call Dad, an active duty Marine recruiter at the time, and have him stop downtown and bring it with him. Later, we would wait around the tv to help launch his latest video. Always we followed the group, then Michael, around the world. Life won’t be the same
without him. He was always there, just as he sang. He was truly the soundtrack of many lives. I introduced my children to him. My first grandchild will arrive later this week. I am sorry that she will know him only through his legacy of music and love, but she will know him nonetheless. God bless the Jackson Family. My family keeps you in prayer. Rest in Peace, Michael. Thank you.
Michael I will never forget the day I seen you in the Bay area in concert and I got your jacket and I will cherish it forever and return it to you when we meet again I love you Michael
Thank you VH1 for coverage of the Memorial Service for Michael Jackson. It seems like I grew up with Michael and that some piece of this world will never ever be the same without him. I guess this is it and reality has finally set in but he will live in our hearts for ever. If each person that attended the live memorial in addition to the millions that watched Michael Jackson’s memorial from their home, in theatres, etc. helps just ONE person we can keep his memory alive and his life he lived will not be in vain. May God bless the family! Sincerely, An MJ fan for life

Michael Jackson shined as a star sparkling in the moon lit sky shimmering on to the Whole Earth. God put one of his Lambs here to reflect this special light. Now he has gone home to sing with the Angels in Heaven, In the Angelic chior . Michael danced the dance of light!
God Bless the gifted who give to the world treasures so we can all be stronger and keep our spirits lifted up high like Heaven above. Thank You Michael Jackson~
It is has been a very sad couple of days for me since the day I heard that my favorite pop-star and one of my idols had passed away even through michael is a little more the twice my age ( Him being 50 and me being 21) I grow up listen to michael jackson I even heard some of the songs that he did with his brothers when the were the Jackson 5 like ABC and Man in a mirror they are two of my favorite songs along with Beat It and Thiller just to name a few to Mr. and Mrs. Jackson that you for making six wonderful kids who have blessed us with the voices and music one of them being Michael. you know I watched the memorial serivce today and I had a mixture of emotions I was happy to see how many people show up and showed how much they loved and care for michael just like I do but I was also sad and upset because we lost someone very near and dear to our hearts and it was no where near time for him to leave us yet and to paris and michael’s other children your daddy will never be gone and I am sure he is looking down on you right now smiling and singing and your daddy loves you guys to I am sure of it and to all the michael jackson haters who through that he did what he was accused of doing let me first start by saying I didn’t believe a word of it and if you don’t like him anymore just because of that then just like michael said in one of his songs JUST BEAT IT there are millions of people out there including myself that still love Michael Jackson. Michael I know you can hear me my dear friend I love you I miss you and thank you for the memories and I will see you in about 40 or 50 years my friend GOD BLESS YOU MICHAEL AND RIP MY FRIEND
When the Twin Towers collapsed, I was a freshman in high school and had never heard of them. When Michael died, I felt like a part of me had died as well. People say they remember where they were when the Towers fell. I remember where I was and how I felt when I heard Michael had died. I can’t believe you’re gone, Michael.
I love Michael so much that I honestly can not stop crying. He has forced me to realize just how pecious life is and to try and make every second count as he did. My heart goes out to his kids and family and to many of his beloved friends. I love you Michael and will never forget you.
I remember,
I remember the times
I enjoyed Michael singing

Your soft spoken words are louder today, the world is listening to you Michael.
I remember when I was 3 and my Uncle Kevin came home with a new poster of Michael Jackson. He unrolled it for me to see and I pointed to it and said “My Boyfriend”. I have been in love with him ever since. My prayers go out to his family. I love you Michael may you rest in peace.

The life and death of Michael Jackson is inextricably entwined in the fabric of American history, and for that matter, the world. For all of us, even those who dont care, he is in our minds. For those of us so very, very lucky to understand him, he is indelibly in our hearts.
Dear God, please help us understand Michael has moved on to the next part of his journey, and please help us use this to pull closer together as people – the caring people of the world.

Mike was the love in people that we all need to have. I only hope that we can make him see from heaven that we are capable of that kind of love for all people.
How many people can make grown men and women cry and faint at a concert. He will always be a magical human being. His legacy will live forever in my heart. love you michael!
I am so grateful to have grown up listening to the legend that is Michael Jackson. So many memories from my childhood involve his music and videos. I remember watching my mom trying to do the moonwalk! (She never did get it down). I feel like a part of my childhood has died along with him. He sacrificed so much of his personal life to entertain us. He really did heal the world and make it a better place. My heart breaks for his family and children. Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain, Michael Jackson – Legends never die.
To: Michael:
Now that you are in Heaven’s grace, I wish you the most satisfying, peaceful, and happy afterlife that we all hope we get to live when the lord comes to retrieve us. You are now in a place where no harm can come your way, but rather you will receive many of the Lord’s wonderful gifts for you have given us all extraordinary gifts while you were placed in this land we all call EARTH, and one of those precious gifts was to teach us to take care of it and treasure it and everything in it just as we treasure you. From the bottom of my heart I say “You are our world” and I will never forget “The Way You Make Me Feel” when I listen to and dance to your music. You will live FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS!!!!!!
I’m bad, so don’t stop till you get enough. I’m a smooth criminal, a man in the mirror. I’m better than any billie jean, black or white. I’m a thriller, I’m michael jackson.
I’m only 26 and I love MJ not solely for the music. For me he was a rare human being in his open-mindedness and his ability to approach people from all walks of life, cultures, colours, religion and nationalities with pure love in his heart. In this era where we often have to question the sincerity of those in the spotlight, I can always reflect on Michael because his dedication to the needs of the world and its people was completely genuine. People often wonder how he transcended so many barriers to accomplish what he accomplished. I believe it’s because he always behaved as a citizen of the world, it its truest sense. I think we all have a lot to learn from this gracious, aware, generous, fallible and flawed man because as high as he climbed, his very human vulnerability and frailty made him simply one of us. Thank you MJ and I’ll never forget.
Michael Jackson was a light, a precious gift given to us by God. A lot of us loved and appreceiated him, and there were some that didn’t so God took his gift back. Michael Jackson’s spirit was so beautiful that even though you didn’t know him personaly he had the abilty to touch your soul, I will always love him for this. There will never be anyone else like him. The memorial was beautiful, my prayers are with the Jackckson famIly.
The greatest vioce then, now, and forever. You will always continue to change peoples lives. We miss you. But we will always have you. Love and prayers.
Here is a poem I found online by an Unknown Author which I believe fits Michael most appropriately.
Not, How Did He Die, But How Did He Live?
Not what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.
Not, what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
But how many were sorry when he passed away.
Like millions of other fans MIchael Jackson’s music was a great part of my life. His music was a part of my childhood, my adolescence and my adulthood. He has brought me great joy. He is the GREATEST ENTERTAINMENT THAT LIVED. and .. the greatest HUMANITARIAN. I feel blessed to have lived in his generation of music. Only the great Michael Jackson can bring people from all over the world to celebrate his life. R.I.P.
I would just like to say I can remember being a young white kind of clumsy kid and the came the moon walk.It brought me so much joy to dance and now yrs later I am still dancing with that same joy thank you for giving me my own joy .I will miss you this dance is for you.
Thank you for providing us with your greatness. Thank you for all the things you did to better the world. I loved your music so much. May you be in pease.
I’ll never forget the ambiance that Micheal protrayed through all of his music. When Thriller debuted, I was five years old and SCARED to death. But, there was something about that same ambiance in the video that captivated me in his music and I couldn’t wait for the next time to see that video. I never realized until now how much his music touchd my heart as well as others. I love you Micheal and all the Jackson Family.
I was born in 1958, by the time I was in 5th grade me and my best friend Richard Visco were dancing and playing when we weren’t in school, riding mini bikes or playing drums or trying to sing to the Jackson 5.. I think not realizing it, we were so full of joy from the music that we were really trying to sing like Michael, a couple of years ago while recording vocals on one of my songs, the engineer said ” your using 9 different vocals on that track just like M J, I guess it was my ear in producing my own songs and that gift came through out the years, Michael touched my soul since I was 11 and still today, he’ll be in my heart forever… Slavedriver Thirteen… God bless you Michael…
Today maybe M.J is gone but tomorrow he wont be forgotton.
M.J Rest in peace
It’s so painful to see someone who is so iconic and so inspirational go so soon!! MJ you are loved by so many and your legacy will forever live on through all of us!! R.I.P. Michael Jackson!!
Thank you VH1 for replaying the memorial – luck would have my DVR did not capture all of it. This world will never be the same without our Dear Michael. The tried and true fans are TRUELY TRUELY mourning. There is no one in the world that could affect me like this. Michael, you always loved this world even when it was cruel to you. You gave us your all and WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. May you finally find the peace you deserve beloved Michael.
A son, a brother, a father, a King, a legend with a heart full of love and compasion to the entire human race, one of a kind talent. Heres wishing you peace and eternal happiness at your final resting place.Your legacy will stay forever. Rest now big MJ for all eternity. God will now keep you safe in his hands.
As I sit in the computer watching Michaels videos I come upon “SCREAM” which he recorded alongside Janet Jackson. This song means alot to me because I remember performing to this song in High School Winterguard. We went to the State Finalists and won first place. I remember we danced the exact same steps done by Micahel and Janet. Love to all the family. God Bless, and thanks for the memories.
FOR MICHAEL,
YOU ARE THE GREATEST SONGWRITER, ENTERTAINER, COMPOSER, CHOREOGRAPHER, ARTIST, AND PHILANTHROPIST…..PERIOD. A TRUE LEGEND. MUSIC WOULD NOT BE WHAT IT IS TODAY WITHOUT YOU. GOD SAW FIT TO BRING A TRUE ANGEL TO HEAVEN TO BE WITH HIM, FOR YOUR HEART & SPIRIT WERE “TOO BIG” TO REMAIN HERE ON EARTH. YOU ARE ALWAYS MISSED & YOUR MUSIC WILL CONTINUE TO LIVE ON IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER! WE WILL LOVE YOU ALWAYS!!!
WE LOVE AND MISS YOU MICHAEL…YOU’LL NEVER BE 4GOTTEN…
What can I saw…. Michael Jackson was the greatest singer and entertainer that ever lived, also he was a wonderful human being, and today the world mourns the lost a one of a kind “Gem”. Michael Jackson had “it” , which is that thing which separates the greatest from the great and he was the greatest. Like a lot of people, I too have my early memories of Michael Jackson singing with his brothers, and for me it was the Christmas album. I recall the happy memories of my friends and I gathering around the record player and singing along with the boys and dancing and performing, as the record player played, “The Jackson five want to wish everybody a Merry Merry Christmas,” we knew every song on that album. However, even though together the brothers made wonderful music, and was great, it was Michael who was the greatest (at singing), and his legacy to the world, will forever be a testament to that fact. Michael was the greatest, there is no doubt about that, I just hope he knew that many people loved and admired him, that many people all over the world from east to west, from north to south, from continents to the Islands of the seas, believed in him, and wanted nothing but the best for him.
May his sould rest in peace.
While serving in the Marine Corps in Vietnam, Michael’s music was always played and motovated us day after day. Thank you Michael for keeping us alive and our spirits up. God Bless!
