    It’s very sad that a memorial has become nothing more than a stage show and media frenzy. Yes, I’m talking to you… and your live streaming. Show some respect.

  • @sky says:

  • mj4ever says:

    MJ didnt take the easy way out. where is the so called proof that he did? the man was about to perform 50 concerts ! they were all sold out as well, so to call it a suicide would make sense right Sky? Anyways, Im a huge fan and now the moonwalker may finally rest in peace. away from this media garbage !

  • latoya clayton says:

    micheal jackson was a inspiration in my life he make the most moves that make me want to watch his videos all over again love u micheal aka my future

  • Cyn says:

    All the bickering seems so pointless and “small” when I think of of MJ’s accomplishments. As a teenager, I watched this “bionic Black kid” taking on the world and kicking down fences and kicking open doors with such ease…and I began to believe that it truly could be done. Remember, this was the 60s and despite the Civil Rights Movement, there were still many barriers. But he was leaping over them constantly, and continued, for four decades, to do this–defying gravity, in a profound way. Kids all over the world who lived in less than optimal circumstances took heart from his rise. We took him for granted after awhile, he was so good at making miracles. And now, we’re in an acute state of Michaelcholia, because the fabric of our lives now has this giant, gaping hole rent through it. The more I see…the more I ache. We’ve lost soooo much more than we know…

  • sally says:

    I just want to post this scripture for Michael. I know he believed in God and no matter what the media said about him he was always protected by his creator!

    ‘We are hard-pressed on every side, Yet not crushed;
    We are perplexed, but not in despair;
    Persecuted, but not forsaken;
    Struck down, but not destroyed.”
    (2 corinthians 4:8,9 )

    At the end Michael won the battle! He was not destroyed!

    Here’s a poem I read about our tug- a- war with ourselves, just like Michael;

    “Heart Gate”

    2 Natures beat within my breast, The one is fowl, The one is blessed.
    The one I love, The one I hate. The one I feed will dominate.

    How true is that! Let’s all lay down “The one that Dominates” If your struggling with any addiction get help don’t let it rape your future. We were each born to have a dream for whatever reason we were raped from that dream. Start today by giving your life over to Jesus!You don’t have to do anything except to accept His gift to you “Salvation” from being seperated from Him.

    My prayers go out to the ones left behind, The Jackson family and Michael’s treasures his kids.

    R.I.P. Michael

    ‘The final curtain call’ It hurts so much. All of ths is so unreal. I hope the internet isn’t so busy to where it’s all jumpy and can’t view it good. Is that possible.?

  • anonymous says:

    I agree with Rhonda. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson (though they were family friends) needs to stay out of everyones business. All they want is attention and publicity! Without these big names they are no one but everyday people. I just wish they would do what their name refers to them as! Reverend!

    If it weren’t for their name I wouldn’t even know they were religious people because I never ever hear them speak of God or try to win people to Him.
    Just my opinions too :)

    At first I thought that this was the funeral. But it’s not…..that will be private. Michael Jackson loved his fans dearly from the bottom of his heart and I think he would want a public memorial no I think he wants a public memorial. So he can see how much we love him.

  • I love Michael Jackson’s music so much. I hope his family is gettiing through everything. I sure wish I could’ve met him. I hope his music is played for ever. I will never stop listening to his music. He was an amazing person. I believe he is the most generous person ever.

  • JudyM says:

    I realized that Michael has been performing globally literally as long as I’ve been alive. I feel like his music has punctuated all of the memorable times in my life…I was listening to “I’ll Be There” with my 19 year old daughter recently…and it immediately brought back the memory of listening to the same song (on the little Motown 45rpm) on my Barbie phonograph!!!! GEEZ!!!! I had mimicked all the voices but especially Michael’s!!! “Let me fill your heart with joy and laughter…”

    Michael; YOU filled MY heart with joy and laughter – thank you for it all…may you rest in peace and serenity. My love and prayers for peace go to your family and your beautiful children. This all still has not sunk in and I’m filled with sadness that we will not have the joy you brought so many any longer but gratitude for everything you gave. RIP, Michael and thank you.

  • Elisa says:

    I am only a few years younger than Michael Jackson. To me, there has never been a time when he wasn’t in the world. As with millions of others, it is unfathomable to live in a world without him. Our world, our country, needed his music today. His goodness, humanitarian efforts, and moral beliefs shone throughout his identity, reaching the hearts and decisions of others to follow. Hopefully those in the music world today, who say he was their role model, truly practice what they preach, creating music for today’s generation that need moral values and good role models desperately. MJ never used the “f” word in his music, nor the degradation and demoralization of youth. Our world needed him, just when he was about to re-emerge. I truly hope his new music is released, so he can still contribute to great music, dance, and a rethinking of mainstream values. I am thrilled that this generation HAS created a storm of interest in his past music. Let them listen and take heart.

Like others said, my prayers as well go out to his family and children! They have been throgh soo much and deserve something in honor of being there for him no matter what he was put through! he still had a family that hje could go to and still feel wanted! Even though it waz his time to ;eave our world he will never leave our spirits or our hearts!Michael Joseph Jackson is deeply loved by many and hopefully now he will have some sort of peace and finally get some rest like he deserves! Music will never be the same after the King of Pop passed and there will NEVER be another Michael Jackson! I love him just as much as anyone else and i know that one day i will hopefuly be able to happilly rest with him when ever that day come! i love you michael and rest in peace!

    I am tremendously saddened by M.J’s passing. He was a huge part of my childhood, that has been forever lost. I will never forget the world premier of thriller. My whole family popped popcorn and waited. While the video played no one spoke a word! It was the coolest thing we had ever seen. I was 6. My sister ,brother and i had his records, the beat it red jacket and my mom made us a sequined glove, and we would take turns wearing them while rocking his music and trying to dance like him. He changed so many peoples lives with his music and creativity. I have some wonderful childhood memories thanks to him! My 4 yr little girl already knows his music and dances like crazy to it. You will be forever missed and appreciated micheal. Thank u for the memories!

  • Hutch86 says:

    MJ’s music is the only music that will make me sporadically dance, even though I’m not into pop so much he’s a guy that transcends the genres.

  • I would just like to say that MJ will definitely enjoy heaven. When I heard that he had passed away, I wasn’t particularly surprised. I think the stress of that trial as well as other things in his life caught up with him and I think he needed some mercy. R.I.P. MJ

    Words cant describe how this changes everything.

  • Ree says:

    Michael was an extraordinary guy, who challenged the views of many and brought to light many of the worlds hardships. If only more could focus on some of the lyrics of the songs. If everyone would have listened to the words of “Man in the Mirror” the world really would be a better place. Michael will never be forgotten!
